Great Hotel and restaurant - we had a wonderful meal there in the evening and the breakfast was superb. All the staff were all tremendous and dealt with our requests courteously and promptly, even checking that everything was still alright the next day. We would love to visit again, hopefully for a longer stay.

Very minor quibbles - there was no air-con and as the room was over the kitchen it was rather hot.The glass bins being emptied at 6:30 odd wasn't pleasant but not the Hotels fault at all.

The staff and service were excellent and the food was outstanding. The room was small but well appointed and very clean.

The bed needed a mattress topper and new pillows.

Good location for getting around lincoln. The hotel is very clean & recently refurbished to a high standard. We stayed in junior suite which was very nice with an excellent shower!

It was a well situated hotel overlooking the castle, just 5 minutes walk from the magnificent cathedral. The food in the hotel was lovely and the service second to none. We had a fab time.

Smart boutique hotel with a friendly feel. Guy on reception exceptionally helpful, I liked the way he told me the names of the staff serving breakfast. My newspaper was waiting for me at breakfast. Felt welcome.

Parking was a little tight but better than the Tower. No real issues.

really nice courtyard room, with own entrance, ideal for me as could park my bike outside the room. the room itself was really nicely furnished and decorated, lots of tea & coffee facilities, lovely bed, really nice bathroom with shower and bath, very good location in the historical part of Lincoln, only a short walk from town center.

just little gripes: I had to wait for 5 mins in reception on arrival before someone discovered me, no bell. radiator in room was on fritz as either red hot or stone cold.

We loved the location of the hotel opposite the castle and very close to the cathedral. The bedrooms were luxurious and the food in the restaurant was superb. The staff were friendly and attentive.

The appartment was absolutely lovely. The staff were very friendly.

My wife and I stayed in one of the Exeuctive Double rooms and were very impressed with the quality of the room for the price. This is a small and intimate hotel with all the mod cons you need for a relaxing break. Ideally situated at the top of Steep Hill for the castle and cathedral, as well as being just a few minutes walk from the shops, tea rooms and pubs.

The wifi was a bit hit and miss and I would have liked Sky Sports channel in the room. This however did not detract from the overall enjoyment of my stay.

I liked the location and the quality of service and food.

I was disappointed with the description of 'spacious' room which was misleading. Some minor faults in the bathroom such as broken shelf in the shower and missing shelf near the sink with holes in wall visible.
