Staff were friendly and professional
Wi-Fi reception was erratic. The bathroom was cold
Very good restaurant
Wifi connection slow and somewhat intermittent. Early checkout time surprising. Wardrobe facilities a little on the basic side.
Excellent staff, all we encountered were very polite .
It was a little cold in the night I'm sure the heating went off.
The location was great. The staff friendly and the room very comfortable.
Parking was available but very tight! No lift.
Right in the centre of beautiful Lincoln next to the castle with a view of the cathedral from our window. Both breakfast and evening meal were excellent. All staff attentive and thorough.
Room clean, well furnished. Bathroom excellent. Great breakfast. Helpful staff, barman excellent, front desk girls excellent. Location great for Cathedral etc!
Wifi poor, hardly worked. Restaurant not open for first day of my 2 day stay. 10am checkout is a bit mean too. Thought my booking included breakfast, but informed it didnt Parking a tad tight
Bedroom very noisy.
Beat of the house music from below
Clean bright room, great restaurant, fantastic location
Food really good. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
Shower and breakfast
Attentive and friendly customer service. Excellent breakfast.
The staff were very welcoming, and were kind enough to let us park in the carpark prior to us checking in later in the day, as we wanted to have a wander around Lincoln first. The Tennyson suite was very warm and comfortable with a fantastic view. It was also very quiet, which was lovely, but maybe that was due to the fact the hotel was quiet anyway.
Upon close inspection the room could have perhaps done with a bit of redecorating, although it was spotlessly clean Just small things such as two bulbs not working in wall lights, the bath panel needed redoing/resealing, there is a nail head projecting out the skirting board behind bathroom door All very minor things but enough to be picked up by a scrutinising eye
everything, the position, comfort cleanliness, the helpful staff.
and it is only a minor niggle....the "continental" breakfast was very boring and limited cereal, yoghurt, toast???? a bit more imagination please.......or take a trip to the continent and really see what they serve!
We stayed in the hotels cottage for one night. Our party consisted of 4 adults with 3 children aged 3,7 and 9 to attend the graduation ceremony of our daughter at Lincoln Cathedral.
The location,cottage and staff.
Fab location in the Cathedral quarter Nice, friendly, helpful staff Good room with nice facilities
Cooked Breakfast was quite greasy
The hotel is set close to the bars and restaurants of cathedral quarter, where we had a very enjoyable Saturday evening. The room had a great king-sized bed which was ultra comfortable. The other facilities, including breakfast, were also of a high quality.
The only issue, that may be a problem occasionally, is that the plumbing is not very quiet and reverberates from other rooms - which matters if people are getting up very early whilst you are still trying to sleep :-(
The hotel was excellent. The staff were courteous and friendly, and sim[ly could not do enough to make my stay comfortable
Position of hotel, staff, hotel clean.
Cold bathroom, noisy room due to poor glazing
Everything. We have stayed before and on this visit we did leave a written review with the manager, all excellent. Some years ago we lived in Caythorpe when I worked for AEI in Lincoln
Everything. Staff very very helpful and understanding
Nothing at all. (wifi very weak in apartment - they tried to improve it without success, but a very minor inconvenience.)
The location was amazing and the hotel was modern and very clean. A perfect place to stay to explore the bailgate
The bar area was small and not cosy so we didn't drink there
We particularly liked the bedroom where we could lie in bed and see the floodlit cathedral
Can't think of anything we didn't like.
Brilliant location Friendly staff Good rooms Great breakfast
My personal preference was the pillows werent great but my partner loved them
