I stated at Castle Lodge for two weeks whilst I was relocating. I arrived in the first night at 11pm and the staff were very friendly and considerate. My room was clean and the showers were nice. I don't think you can find anywhere better for the price. Staying here saved me a fortune and was also good fun, the staff had a good family vibe and we're always willing to help.
Good and friendly atmosphere very helpfull
clean & tidy good breakfast
bathrooms top spec very clean bedrooms of good standard nice and quiet stay and local to all shops and city centre
no fry up but we knew this before we booked and again for the price and the breakfast that was available we couldnt complain
The staffs there were friendly and are always checking on you to see if you need any assistance. This is good as they are making sure that we have the best experience whist staying with them and not to have a stressful stay. Breakfast in the morning was wonderful, met some of the people staying there and chatted and became friends. Shared toilets were cleaned everyday. Within walking distance to Anfield, or bus ride of about 7 minutes. Wonderful experience, definitely recommend to people.
Be careful of cars driving by at all times when at the roadside, people throwing things at passerby out of their cars.
Lots of hen and stag parties stay there up all nite due to noise room in need of modinisation car parking facilities poor
Good size room and bathroom. Comfortable beds. Clean. Helpful and social hosts. No wall to wall carpeting in the room.
The staffs are friendly and very helpful. The rooms are cozy and clean.
It's rather far from the city centre
Staff were great, very clean and well maintained
Bed was a bit old and lumpy, blinds let a lot of street lighting in, noisy footsteps from guests above
Good central location taxi was £5 into town centre. Open plan room ideal for all socialising and getting ready together. Easy and helpful check in and check out.
Breakfast selection very poor for price. Sharing a bathroom never again and rooms extremely ild fashioned.
Upon arrival we had a warm welcome with the landlady well prepared for our arrival.she was very friendly and showed great people skills to myself and my 7 year old son. The location was perfect for a 20 minute walk to Anfield.Knowing that the match was not until the following day she gave us some ideas where to spend our afternoon in town which we did . The following morning yet more staff showed a lot of friendliness to myself and son and we shared stories before leaving for the match. With the weather outside raining , the accommodation was warm and very clean with free wifi and lots of TV channels to choose from we both had a very comfortable stay .
Bathroom, beds, WiFi, brake fast...
Sun light in the morning
Very good value - lots of light and space, brilliant staff, a good breakfast and superfast Internet. Buses pass regularly for a quick connection to the city, or it is a 30-minute walk to Lime St. Plenty of shops and take-aways down the road. The shared bathroom is spacious and bright.
Some of the furnishings have seen better days but for the price this was still decent value.
This was the first time we had used Castle Lodge. Everything was great and fantastic value. This will be our first choice from now on.
Really nice friendly staff, went there on a stag do, parking available in hotel rooms massive with good showers and wifi. Will stay again. P.S .... Sorry about the cups what an episode with one of the lads sleep walking
10 minutes from Anfield, friendly staff, communal toilets and bathroom decent value for money. Liverpool is a beautiful city.
Really friendly staff, very helpful and accommodating. Superb value for money. The lads had a good time.
Loved how my mates could mess about and barely anything was said. Rooms small but nice, well worth it's value. Great for a lads weekend away
We liked the welcoming reception and helpfulness of the staff. They were informative about the area and how to get around Liverpool. The rooms were well set out and tastefully decorated , although we were surprised to be in two different houses.
We were advised, by locals, that we were not in a desirable area and were wary going out at night.
Value for money. Very clean. Staff are helpful and friendly. Great shower and toilet areas. Used it for the 'open' golf - having a key to the property meant no restrictions to my movements. No clock watching - perfect! . Would use again.
The absolute friendliness of staff and the cleanliness of everything
having to share bathroom and the bed size
Quickest check in procedure of any hotel. Great bathrooms, and friendly staff.
Precharges your card when you book instead of allowing you to pay upon check out.
Big room and nearby anfield
Not value for money, need to improve the facilities.
