The hotel cleanliness and location is perfect, I had stayed before One receptionist (large blonde)clearly has bad people skills and was eager to expain that I had signed the registration document which points out... When I only asked a simple questions. Horrible woman who tainted my stay.

Reasonably priced for its location as a result, will be making a second visit. Very comfort6able. Enjoyed being so close to the town centre. The staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful. The local people are noticably friendly. Tamworth is a typically English town as I remember how England used to be. (I'm in my 77th year). Thank You I had to report a broken shower. I had to report the broken switch on the trouser press. On one evening I returned and looking forward to a tea and biscuits, there were no biscuits. On another occasion I had to request for some bath oil, none had beenleft by the cleaner. On another occasion, there were no sweetners left on the tray. Would have liked a breakfast but considered it too expensive. Did not go into the bar due to the loud music. Whilst in the room, I ould hea a door regularly banging.

The location was great and the staff were helpful, nothing was to much trouble for them... The rooms were spacious, but the bathroom was a little shabby, the bath was small and there was marks on the door. there was dust behind the toilet and a damp patch on the ceiling, this rather let the room down. The nice touch was the toiletries.

The staff were very helpful, the room was adequate . .. The shower tiles could have been a lot cleaner. I have a back problem and found the bed very hard and uncomfortable. While waiting for my toast at 9.30 am. I heard the chef tell a customer that they were out of eggs so he couldn't have a fried egg with his full english breakfast---- bad management?

Convenience of the wedding I was attending being there. On arrival I was not asked how I had travelled or parked meaning I subsequently received a parking fine the Monday morning as I had not been offered a parking permit. Also there were no reserved rooms for the bride and bridesmaids to get ready in therefore they had to move everything into mine and my boyfriends room meaning the bride was then late and our room a shambles with 8 people's belongings in it.

All fine except the cost of the breakfast - this is not the Hilton! Breakfast at £9.50 is ridiculous

Our room was big and we had a small living room attached to the bedroo And the area castle was pretty The bed looked like it had been made out of spare parts. The springs could be felt thru the mattress so I had a bad neck when I woke up. Needs a bit of updating. The tvs were the size of a postage stamp so u need glasses to magnify the screen!
