The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. The guy on reception when we arrived to the girl on reception saturday evening. As well as the rest of the staff but these two particularly. The facilities were excellent. We enjoyed the gym, swimming, sauna and steam room. Booked some treatments in which were fantastic. Castlefield is so close to everything, for us Old Trafford and the centre of Manchester for shopping and eating. The breakfast at £7.50 was great, full English cooked breakfast and as much as you would like. We will certainly be returning here.

Convenient and a good price with everything necessary for a one night stay. Noise from the street stopped me sleeping and the drain in the bathroom was odorous.

The position, close to Opera House theatre and the city centre was perfect. The swimming pool and sports facilities were superb. Hotel was newly built in 1990. The price of £79 for the one nights stay including full English breakfast was pretty good value for a city hotel. We would certainly stay there again on our next theatre visit Sadly, the buffet style English breakfast whilst very comprehensive, was disappointing in that most items were cold. However the fresh fruit salad was excellent as was everything else about the the breakfast.

An excellent stay. We were welcomed warmly by a lady on her first day and, despite having to ask some questions (who would not on their first day!) she was knowledgeable about the area and the facilities. Later we asked about restaurants and were given accurate directions to a multitide of places. A warm relaxing environment with a smiling team to help made it a great stay. Not your fault but a large hen party made for a very early wake up call when they rolled in at 3am. Only thing is a litlle faster when replenishing breakfast

Good location, good breakfast. Overpriced car-parking (60%cost options nearby) Hotel a bit jaded, rooms not of quality of a good premier lodge etc but priced as if they were. Walls extremely thin!
