It was very central and provided us with what we needed at a reasonable price. One of the bedroom windows did not fasten properly because the catch was broken, so this increased the noise during the night. The mattress on the bed was not that comfortable. |

Really good location for central Manchester, room was spacious enough to do bits of work in, nice linen, fresh fruit at breakfast, sports/pool/spa facilities a real bonus and easily accessed, car parking, helpful cheery staff, good scale map of city available in reception Bathroom in need of refurbishment - bit tatty, shower controls a bit wobbly, and fan did not work.Entrance/approach also needs a bit of a trim/tidy, but it was deepest winter when I stayed. Personally I don't like an inescapable tv in bar. |

The Castlefield Hotel was reasonably priced and comfortable for our one night sty in Manchester for a gig at the MEN Arena which was a 10-15 minute walk away. Close to all the city centre amenities. |

I felt the hotel had a cosy and homely feel and there were plenty of good facilities for the individual to use. One member of staff came across as being abrupt and miserable which wasn't very welcoming. |

We came to visit the German Markets and see our son at University and it was well located within walking distance to the shops but not right in city centre where it would have been very noisy and busy. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room wqas comfortable and clean. We also enjoyed a very nice cooked breakfast , |

We enjoyed the swimming pool in particular and the ease of parking. Also the Sapporo restaurant is right next door and the Science museum is opposite. |

The hotel was great, the room was clean and spacious and overlooked the canal wharf. The breakfast was lovely, it included a cooked breakfast which we didn't expect. The swimming pool, sauna, and steam room were a perfect way to relax after a busy day. |

Warm welcome from reception. Clean, spacious room with comfortable bed. Superb pool and gym facilities. Pleasant buffet breakfast in comfortable lounge. Easy walking distance of city centre - close to Great Northern with its cinemas and entertainment. It's on quite a busy road so there was some traffic noise - but not enough to stop me staying there. The windows are great for summer because they open wide; but this was November and I wanted them open a little, and it was either all or nothing! |
