Good staff, pleasant location. Catered for my needs as a Coeliac with GF toast and sausages.

The hotel is in beautiful grounds just a short walk from the town.

The rooms are spacious and clean and the ones at the back of the hotel are quiet.

The welcome I received when feeling exhausted after a long day at work and a tiring journey, the setting, the lovely comfortable modern room, the swimming pool and gym, the food[good range of options in fine dining restaurant,lounge bar or adjoining pub], handy for Kendal and Windermere -everything really.

i thought it was fantastic that there was a choice of restaurants on site making eating out every night quick but also different

we had an evening meal in the pub. The staff were very attentive and fussed over us. Really lovely. The food and wine very good, if not a little overpriced, but, we spoilt ourselves.

The room was a bit on the small side. Although very clean, was also very compact.

Loved everything about it was fab, wheat to a wedding there and it was lovely staff were great

Excellent hotel with staff to match who excelled in looking after their guests. Lovely furnished hotel with comfortable surroundings and facilities with beautiful views over the countryside.

The Hotel is beautiful, The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The first thing we noticed was the room was nothing like the photo it was very small, there was a hole in the netting on our window and black mould behind the curtain on the wall we booked a twin room and the beds were very hard and uncomfortable the pillows were also very hard, We were put at the back of the hotel which was very disappointing outside our room window was the plant for the swimming pool which made a terrible noise that didn't go off until 9-30pm then came back on around 6-30am we could also hear all the noise of people who were using the pool. All in all very disappointing considering the room rate charged..
