Good location 2 min. from Paddington underground station, very easy to find, seems a pleasant neighbourhood. Small but clean room, comfortable bed with real duvet (not the dreaded blankets you often get in London). I'm small and slim and don't mind, but it's fair to warn larger people that the bathrooms, although clean and new, are truly tiny. I think a larger person might be really uncomfortable and more or less unable to move around, the depth of the bathroom is about 90-100 cm wall to wall. The lift was out of order during my stay, which I don't mind in itself, but they were having the railings at the stairs painted during the same period, which meant that manouvering with a suitcase while avoiding to get paint on one's clothes was somewhat challenging, as the stairs are standard narrow British stairs. |

We used it to stay overnight for a theatre visit, it was very suitable for this. Basic but fine. The breakfast was hot and tasty, the staff polite. We wanted somewhere near Paddington, so it was very convenient. We would use it again. In the process of being refurbished. This did not get in the way of our stay, but we had not known this before our visit. But we had a very nice room, basic but perfect for what we needed. |

Nice staff. Great location. Clean and tidy. Perfect if you plan to not stay in the rooms during the day. Rooms are compact, but its not a problem unless you are bringing lots of luggage or plan to spend lots of time there. Our bathroom was tiny. |

Was greet by a scruffy man, who questioned us why we turned up late... we cancelled our first night for family reasons, but were questioned why!!! We were also charged 100% of the accommodation including breakfast for the night that was cancelled... a bit rich I think, especially as we were not there for breakfast, the same scruffy individual would not give me the name of the Hotel Manager/Owner so I could write to them. The same scruffy man, did not say please or thank you. Our room had no towels and no tea, milk and coffee, but did have dirty cups and a kettle. I did have to ask the night staff to provide these, and was dealt with barely satisfactory, had to wait 35 minutes for these to be delivered to our room. An unpleasant stay... The breakfast of a deep fried sausage, a piece of deep fried bacon, cold beans and a deep egg was not pleasant, the toast was not fresh either, was cold .... maybe leftovers!!! Would not recommend this hotel to anyone, not fit for kennels let alone holiday makers!!! This hotel does not make a ONE STAR in our opinion. |

Good Staff, nice breakfast, and above all, very close to the train station or bus stop to go anywhere. Bedroom and Shower Room were a bit small. Lot of noise can be heard from the alongside street. |

The hotel was very conveniently situated with everything you needed very nearby. Breakfast was cooked well - maybe a choice of fruit or more cereal would have been nice. Our room was very small but it was nice and clean |

Bed was comfortable and clean, staff was helpful and friendly. Nice flat screen tv in the room. It looked like the rooms have been recently renovated. Great location, 5 minutes walk from Paddington Station + Heathrow express Room was small, (comparable size to a walk-in closet in us) It was on the street so even on the fourth floor with the old style windows it was very loud (but I bought earplugs at the Boots in Paddington station so it helped) The bathroom was about the size of a department store dressing room and they had the toilet, miniature sink and shower all crammed in! I am 5'10 and slim, and I cannot imagine how anyone larger would do in such a bathroom. In fact, you really couldnt even close the door (but in the single room dont really have need to). But the cereal bowl sized sink was difficult to wash up in and water went everywhere. |

Hotel staff was courteous and the location was brilliant! There were bedbugs in the mattress! and no running hot water at 6 in the morning ! As most travellers have early flights to catch this can be a problem! |

The breakfast and the location were good. Smell of old smoke everywhere but not too bad, and the stairs and floor were old. We could listen the people upstairs walking, and sometimes it was quite noisy. But I would still recomend this hotel. |

The location The room we were given was small and stuffy - in the basement with one window which opened onto a smelly alley way. The bathroom was in the bedroom and we had to go up and down a step to move between the two. Very dangerous. Breakfast was stingy and without taste |
