The location was great, with restaurants and shops across the road, and it was only 300metres from Paddington railway station and the underground. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the full English breakfast was a great start to the day.Because the hotel was in Paddington you was only a tube train away from the centre, but it was nice and quiet at night not like the centre of Leicester square. The room was probably one of the smallest I have ever stayed in, and the bathroom was very small too, but considering the time you actually stay in your room on a trip to London it didn't spoil the experience.

The closeness to Paddington Station and availability of buses was what I really liked about the hotel. Also the cooked breakfast, comfortable (but small) room and helpful staff (especially breakfast room) impressed me. My room's window looked out onto the garbaage bins and staff slamming doors at six am.

Location is excellent, being only 2 blocks from Paddington Station. Staff was very friendly and breakfast was hot and served each morning. For a long stay, breakfast becomes monotonous because it is the same each day with no variety or breadth of choices (traditional English breakfast). Rooms are small but adequate.

Location. The young lady receptionist with eyeglasss, forgot her name. She went on vacation when we got back on May 7th 2012 I was sick from my cruise back to this hotel stay a night and fly back home. One of my friend ask the front receptionist to open the side door so it's easy for me to go in becasuse I was feeling so weak cann't even walk (May 7th, 2012) the receptionist on duty that day was very rude. Said no We had a group of 14 people. We stayed before we left for our cruise and back again. There was also a mistake of room. We could have cancelled one room but the east indian gentleman would not let us cancel. He was the man would not open the side door for me.

Lovely clean and spacious room. Modern bathroom. Nicely decorated throughout. Excellent location. Quiet despite its central location. Left luggage facility. Decent price, with triple rooms available. Breakfast was cold and unappetising. We were allowed to check in but the arrived at our room to be told by the cleaning staff that our room was not ready and sent back downstairs to wait in reception. Bed was uncomfortable and needed a new matress.

We like the room and the staff was kindly and very helpfull, good service The room for breakfast was small - saturday there was not place for all people, but the other days it was better. If something could be differnt it may be the serving of coffee, it would be better if people themself could take coffee in the morning, instead of serving it, its not a big problem but would also be better for the staff.

The location was great for six days in London, with easy access to Heathrow and tube travel. Area was diverse but very pleasant. Definitely not a luxury hotel but a good value for staying in London on a budget. Staff was friendly, adequate and tasty full breakfast was included. Fresh linens and towels daily, hot water pot with instant tea and coffee, soap and shampoo, and free TV helped make stay pleasant. Bathroom small but very clean, shower stall included. No luggage stand but adequate closet and shelves.

Location The mould in the room, the size of the room, the dirty carpets throughout the hotel, the extremely small bathroom, the damp smell of the breakfast room in the basement. I would never stay here again. Fit for backpackers only.

The rooms were very small, we had a triple room and the bed was in front of the wardrobe so we couldn't put our clothes away!!! The bathroom only had a shower and it was like being in a small caravan!!

I really liked the location because the Paddington station is 5 minutes walk. Everything related to hotel were poor. The room was extremely small. The bath was really unaccaptible small and all the stuff inside the bath is plastic made. The room windows wasn't properly installed so you can hear what poeple talk on street and it was cold over the night because window doesn't fit well. All in all, I'd not recommend this hotel to anyone. The value you get for the price is really poor. Try to find some other place to stay in London.

The Hotel is in a superb location if arriving or departing at Paddington Station. There are loads of nearby cafe's and restaurants plus the normal fast food outlets etc. The single room I had was fine for a nights stay and the price for central London was very reasonable. The staff were friendly and approachable. Would stay here again.

Excellent staff- helpful and friendly (some of the best staff I have come across in three months of travelling!) Have booked to stay at this hotel again in a month! No request too difficult. Great location and so close to the Paddington Rail Station and Tube Station! Clean and smells good! Rooms an bathrooms decently sized considering it is Londn!! Bed could have been a bit better!
