Castletown House  

The room was spacious with high ceilings. Very clean. Fully equipped kitchen. Bathroom had bath and a show. The bed was extreamly comfortable. Wonderful large flat screen tv with plenty of channels. very close to my office so location excellent for me and only 2 mins walk from the tube so great for getting around London. I will be stopping again when next in office

The owner-operator was extremely nice, friendly, and helpful. Somewhat rare for London and all the more appreciated because of it.

Proximity to underground station

It was in your list as a 4 star Hotel but it was not even a Hotel; there was no reception, the "studio" was in the basement, very dirty bathroom, all the furniture, doors and equipment were appropriate only to a 1star ... I am sorry that your service includes such premises ...

We needed car parking so £16 per day ( and free on weekends) was a reasonable price for on street, out the front of the hotel parking, compared to exorbitant prices in London. The apartment was fully furnished,spacious and well equipped with proper kitchen, large fridge and freezer and washing machine/dryer,decent tv ,dvd player plus a selection of DVDs. WiFi reception was very good. Tube station was a 2 minute walk and grocery stores nearby. The location on Booking.com says Hammersmith but it is actually West Kensington. Owner/ manager are onsite during the day and Mark was very friendly and helpful.

The rubbish bins are kept on the front door step, but this is a common problem in all of London with the lack of space.

Very close to the underground station in a quiet area. To sleep and shower it was great, but has all you need if you want to prepare simple meals. The owners are nice people. The price was acceptable.

We asked for a double bed but in fact we had twin beds put together. Our studio was in the basement but nothing we didn't mind as we use it just to sleep and shower.

The first room we were offered in the basement was awful.

Think it needs decorating. No hot water for first day. 3 out of four lights out in bathroom. Tesco bags in bins. Hall and stairs smell fusty and didn't give a nice impression. They also need an upgrade.

the staff is really niceeeeeee. the location is so near to the tube station which only take 2 mins. and have tesco express nearby. so it is easy to buy some food and cook in the room.

Clean, plenty of space, and good value for money given the location. Friendly and very helpful staff, and I would stay at Castletown House again in the future.

Very good value for money. Comfortable and quiet apartment. Fantastic location, close to tube station and walking distance to Earl's Court. Mark was very helpful.

I liked the facilities, comfort and location excellent. The fact that it is run by a family is a plus as you have a hands on service. Wi-Fi and tv were important and all the appliances in kitchen. Everything was well thought out and made for convenience and to spend a little quiet time in apartment a pleasure.

Could be cleaner as several long black hairs lying around on floor in room. Depending on which apartment you have, could be a little compact round the toilet.

I liked the fact that the appartment was spacious,well equipped and had a real feeling of home comfort. I loved being able to walk from bathroom,to bedroom and sitting room and spread out without feeling that everything is on top of me. Since these are period properties they have high ceilings which also gives a feeling of space. It was also one tube stop away from the Earls Court exhibition centre which was very convenient for me since I was exhibiting at the London Book Fair.For a London venue the appartment is located in a relatively quiet location and close to local ammenities and restaurants.The owners were helpful and knowledgeable. Since I live in North London am familiar with the city and I would definately stay here again if I need to be close to Earls Court.

The floors are all wood and sometimes the person in the appartment above me walking about could be a bit annoying.

-Location not that far from Olympia convention center -large room -price ok -the personel is nice

-Surroundings, not much restaurant an close to a large speed road -room quality standard is very poor compared to European hotels but this is not typical from Castetown, mostly for all budget hotels in london, on my experience (small shower, little water pressure, blinds do not bring full dark in the room, etc...)

La ubicacion y sobre todo el trato con Mark el encargado que nos atendio en recepcion, nos dio todas la facilidades y se encargo de reservarnos el taxi de vuelta al aeropuerto de Luton por un precio de 75 libras muy competitivo.

Cordialtà e disponibilità staff...vicinanza al centro e alla metropolitana, il monolocale è "carino" e accogliente.

Il bagno, nonostante i comfort (bagmoschiuma, phon...) non è molto bello

Apartamentos con una decoración correcta y en buen estado. No se encuentra en una zona turistica, pero esta bien comunicado.

L'appartement etait tres bien situe a quelques minutes de marche du métro de West Kensington et pres de petits restos de quartier. L'appartement etait grand et bien équipe mais il aurait besoin de quelques petits travaux de réparation ( serrures, crochets, douche ..). Il etait tres calme, nous avons tres bien dormi.

Nous ations au sous sol ce qui fait que l'appartement manquait de lumière. Il faudrait aussi effectuer quelques petits travaux de réparations mineurs mais qui donneraient une meilleure impression (serrures, crochets, plafond de la douche..)

Appartamento spazioso e dotato del necessario. Vicino alla fermata della metro e del bus.Supermercati e Farmacia nelle vicinanze.

Il Bagno è sicuramente la stanza meno curata, l'odore di muffa era insopportabile. La tenda della doccia sarebbe da sostituire. Mancano gli appendini per gli asciugamani.

La camera da noi vista non corrispondeva a quella prenotata.

Staff scortese ed improvvisato. Pulizia scarsa e appartamento nettamente al di sotto delle aspettative rispetto al prezzo (150 euro al giorno circa).

Environnement calme, situation idéale pour visiter l'ouest de Londres, proche de la station de métro West Kensington.

Chambre attribuée située au sous-sol, Propreté de la salle de bain vraiment insuffisante. Isolation phonique bien trop faible.
