The staff were efficient and friendly. It was good to be able to leave our luggage and good location. Although room 6 - next to recerption - appeared clean and the sheets were clean, I felt I was being bit and the following day had several large, nasty insect bites. I recommend the room and bed is checked to avoid a similar thing happening to someone else.

I found the Caswell Hotel, old, dated, badly furnished, badly designed, noisy, poor facilities (communal showers and toilets). I not know how it passes fire/H &s regs as my door did not self close even though it was a fire door. The walls are very thin so that I could hear every word (etc)of the people in the room next to me. The photos on all web sites are deceptive and do not show the real state of the hotel. I have a recording of my room if anyone should want to see it.

Centrally in a very good and safe area. Very close to Victoria station (10 minutes walking even with luggage). Very calm street. 24 hours reception. The hotel is worn and dirty. The curtains are not washed for years.

No hot water, shared facilties not fit for purpose, paper thin walls, tiny room - too small for a single but they managed to squeeze a double in. Awful experience.

Good location, close to train and bus station, and handy to good local bus route, quite neighbourhood with choice of pubs/restaurants. Breakfast was good and served well by staff. Room was quite small, bathroom very tiny. Beds quite soft and room not very clean. For price, I guess this is what you get in London.

We were placed in a room outside the hotel. Feel like living in a store room. The room is so smelly and damp. So disappointed!

The staff was very helpful. This hotel has no lift and share bathroom & toilet, so when I told him that I oftenly go to toilet in the night the next day he moved us to a room where toilet and bathroom just outside our room and he also help me carried my heavy luggage. Also he answered all my questions for where to go, etc. For sure will come back to this hotel on my next trip no lift

It is an old building and has old fittings, but the hotel was very clean. And the breakfast was ok too. It is cheap for a very good location. We were not en suite and there were 3 showers we could use. There was a problem with the water supply - in two showers I could only get scalding hot water and had to traipse down 3 flights of stairs to the third shower which was ok. I didn't comjplain because I was leaving that morning.

The hotel was a convenient walk from Victoria Coach Station. I arrived in London via a Ryanair flight to Stansted, and didn't reach the hotel until 1:30 a.m. The streets were deserted between the coach station and the hotel, but were quiet and well-lit. Check in was no problem at that time of the night. Breakfast the next morning was ample, and included a croissant, toast, assorted jellies, muesli and other cereals, fruit juice, coffee and fresh fruit. I would definitely use this hotel again!

Although I arrived very late I was admitted and seen at once by reception. I was in my room within a couple of minutes. It was a basic single, as I had booked but the bed was first class and the room was clean and tidy with tea making facilities, all there ready. I had been offered an upgrade but I was very happy where I was. Overseas visitors should note that the location near to Victoria Coach Station is great for budget travellers and I could have left my case during the day of check out had I wished, The breakfast was better than the average continental with a nice choice and I slept well since the hotel is not directly on a main street. For the budget traveller this hotel is a great choice.

We stayed for 3 nights for a reasonable price (when comparing to other London hotels). It was good that breakfast was included, but there could have been more on the breakfast buffet. Great location, in between tube stations Pimlico and Victoria. Close to good pubs, bars and restaurants. The room in which we stayed was really cold! The radiator did not work and the staff members were reluctant to give us extra blankets even though we explained that we were freezing. The staff seemed to be annoyed by our requests.

The young men at the reception desk were very kind and helpful! Having to ring to get into the hotel was a plus for me, giving me a really good sense of security.

Location, close to Victoria Station. My room was with shared bathroom and toilet, however to get there I had to pass a corridor with open space so actually I had to come out from the building. I haven't used toilet during the night from obvious reason. I know that other single rooms was available during the night this time so don't understand why I have been allocated in this one. I have been asked if I want upgrade room to my own toilet/bathroom. If I would known that will be like that I would upgrade the room or booked other hotel.

Handy central London location - short walk from Victoria station. Staff were friendly, polite and helpful. Everywhere in the hotel - bedding, sinks, shower, breakfast tables - incredibly clean. Quiet at night. Bedspreads look rather old - but the sheets underneath were in good condition and clean. Sachet coffee in rooms fairly dire

The location is great. Compared to other hotels at the same price this one is superb! My room was at 5th floor and there was no lift. Also the internet is extremely bad at this hotel, especially in the evening.
