Host Paul was very friendly and welcoming. Place to park. Right next to the cathedral and near to lovely restaurants. Good breakfast, well cooked.

Bells are quite loud on the side if the building we were on. I didn't mind it but my husband didn't get much sleep.

Owner and staff very friendly and helpful. Huge room. Excellent breakfast as others have said. Great location from which to explore Lincoln.

Although huge, our ground floor room was very stuffy in hot weather. Unfortunately, there's not much that can be done due to the age of the building and its listed status.

    Location, Staff, Food

Room No 1. No and I mean no natural movement of fresh air. We woke each morning groggy and with headaches and the quality of the air in the room was very poor. This requires immediate rectification in our view.

Excellent location for exploring Lincoln. Good breakfast. Comfortable bed.

Beams in the bedroom were a bit too low and rather oppressive. My husband knocked his head on them a couple of times. The hot water in the shower was not hot enough and the pressure was low, stopping completely a couple of times. Flickering lamp.

The bedroom we were in actually had two separate rooms so was more like a family suite. Our 5 year old daughter enjoyed the fact that her TV was larger than ours!

Nothing. It was perfect for us in every way and we've stated in ALOT of places!

Hosts were very hospitable. Right in th centre of town. Everything on your doorstep. Good view of the cathedral. Room very comfortable indeed. Breakfast was very nice, and overall good value for money. We will definitely return when next in the Lincoln area.

    Couldn't fault the place.

Location was excellent for Lincoln attractions and places to eat and drink and just a short walk to city centre. Staff were so friendly, couldn't help us enough. Accommodation was very clean and to an excellent standard. Very beautiful surroundings.

Nothing...would highly recommend this Guest House to everyone.

Genuinely old. Location - in the heart of the old town. Tracy was friendly, helpful and full of advice.

    Access by car was tricky.

Location very good. Staff excellent and very helpful. Breakfast cooked very well.

Not really a dislike but entrance to car park very tight and awkward to park and as we had new car, was a little nerve wracking but we managed. Probably should let visitors know the width of entrance.

The medieval ambience is terrific. It is only a very short walk to the marvellous Cathedral and to the Castle.

The rather narrow coaching-arch entrance for a motor car.
