Its description of Luxury B&B surpassed my expectations and the owners have made available everything they would like to find at a luxury B&B. |

It was fantastic to have a vegetarian protein option at breakfast, Quorn sausages! And a very full breakfast buffet. Excellent room and very accommodating of our late arrival. |

Breakfast was great. Honesty bar was excellently stocked. Good quality furnishings and excellent comfortable lounge. This is the second time we stayed and we were always made to feel very welcome. Shame they don't do evening meals which means you have to drive or get a take away - plenty of recommendations are provided for you. They are in the process of updating rooms but our room, although otherwise excellent, still had an analogue TV with 5 channels which just isn't really good enough in these days of Freeview and a daughter who likes to watch CBeebies ! |

Every care and thought had gone into the bedroom and bathroom so that there was nothing you needed for a nights stay that was not available |

time and thought had been invested in it. Roger was great. Despite the reviews, i was expecting a 5* facility, as i wasn't aware that guest houses have star ratings. i was conscious that i was in someone's house, and was guarded, and didn't relax as much as i would have in a hotel. |

fantastic building, great period atmoshere, very comfortable After driving 5.5 hours I arrived at the hotel to be informed that the owners were away and evening meals were not available. To say I was angry would be an understatement. At the very least they should have emailed or telephoned me to inform me that over the period of my stay evening meals were not available. After a days work I did not want was to have to look for somewhere else to eat. |

Comfortable room. Available fresh milk from fridge downstairs. I did not use it,but the 'honesty bar' seems a good idea. Helpfulness of owner with directions for my onward journey. Not about the hoteI but the directions. I arrived in the city just after dark, negotiated the turn off the ring road ok but then went round in circles for about 45mins.Luckily the first person I asked for directions knew exactly where it was. |

Rooms good size and very comfortable, owners very friendly and welcoming, food delicious and good variety of food for breakfast. Would stay again. On arrival where were not made aware of the alternative carpeted stairs and had to carry a very young baby and luggage up very slippy, steep, uneven wooden staircase. |

A good standard of hotel without being too stuffy. A warm welcome and a great breakfast. The rooms are a good size and the bed was comfortable. The floorboards did make some noise, but this was not a big problem during our stay. |
