Lovely big family room and wonderful decor, comfortable in all aspects. The breakfast is very good and substantial, and we had enjoyed our stay.

The location is a bit far for our purpose for the Commonwealth Games visit, but otherwise a very lovely place to stay. Although the restriction to register on arrival could cause a bit of anxiety.

Lovely B&B - great staff and a very warm welcome. Lovely breakfast. Nice room - very clean and much bigger than the normal B&B! Would definitely stay here again. Very close for Edinburgh and the wonderful Kelpies. Linlithgow is a lovely town too. Highly recommended.

A lovely house around 50 yards from a quiet road and fully secluded. A lovely sitting room to relax in with comfortable chairs. A lovely upstairs balcony area to sit in with dormer windows in the roof making it bright and airy. A very warm welcome from the host

The personal touch - we were greeted on arrival, made to feel welcome and the warm, personal touch was much appreciated. The rooms were immaculate and they had those little extras which matter and make the difference - which other establishments would scrimp on (tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits, wi-fi that works and a TV with all the channels working). The two dogs were also a big hit with the kids.

Nothing - We booked Cauldburn House as a bed only while we were at the Commonwealth Games, but once we arrived and settled into our room we regret that we did not have time to appreciate fully the rest of the facilities and hospitality, the location and the local area.

Fantastic sized room and facilities. Breakfast was amazing, and the owners were super friendly.

The bathroom wasn't an ensuite (although it was just for our use) it was a little annoying.

Delightful bedroom and lounges. Guitar and piano in lounge were especially welcome. Sorry we couldn't spend more time there.

The price was very high, (£100 for double room without breakfast) even for such a luxurious overnight stay. Not sure if this was due to Commonwealth Games supply and demand or not.

Hazel and Jim were lovely hosts, very pleasant and friendly. Their home was like a palace. It had everything we needed and was set in lovely grounds. We have never seen such a choice on the breakfast menu at any other location in Scotland and we stayed at 6 different hotels during our 2 weeks holiday. The cooked breakfast was also very enjoyable and prepared individually to order .

Our stay was not long enough!

A very enjoyable stay. The owners were very attentive and provided us with a great deal of information about the area and surrounding areas. The room was very comfortable with plenty of space and very clean. We had a car so it was a great location for travel between Glasgow and Edinburgh. Thank you once again.

That we had to go home :(
