“ Very friendly excellent food spotlessly clean and would not hesitate to stay there again. The only thing I would have changed was the colour of the walls and ceiling in our room it was a very cold blue but that was my personal taste.Overall though we very very happy with our stay at the Cavendish. ”

Lovely warm and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast in a beautiful dining room. Extreemly comfortable beds. Location excellent for shops and restaurants, Valley Gardens and RHS Harlow Carr. The rooms were a little on the small side, but this wouldn't put me off staying again.

The breakfast supplied was excellent. Bit of a climb up the stairs with the luggage, when on the top floor.

This is an excellent B&B close to the town centre and overlooking Valley Gardens which are lovely to walk around. The room had been newly decorated, new bathroom, clean and overlooked the park. The breakfast was excellent and the owner was very friendly and helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this B&B. I hesitate to criticise but the front garden could do with a tidy up and possibly new windows/sandblasting. This would make a huge different to one's first impression on arrival. Other buildings higher up the road have done this with amazing results - though I do appreciate this is an expensive exercise!

The single room had a double bed. There was plenty of decent tea and coffee in the room. The layout was good. The breakfast was well presented and delicious. The town centre was a 5 minute walk but the view from the B&B was countryside, a great combination. The owner was professional and friendly. I stayed two nights and found no fault.

2 Single en suites were very comfortable. Double room no heating or hot water. Staff did let us use a free double room on ground for showering. Only one sachet of coffee in room for 2 people. Staff were apologetic. But did spoil our stay on cool night.

The Cavendish was very close to where I wanted to be in Harrogate. I was made very welcome and was very comfortable. My room was large and airy with a view over the park. Facilities are excellent and staff are very friendly and helpful. I would stay there again.

Breakfasts were excellent. The dining room was very attractive and contemporary-looking. Our twin bedded room was too cramped for 2. There were no bedside tables/lamps - only a standard lamp by each bed. En-suite was very narrow - difficult to dry off after a shower.

Very friendly staff. Clean and comfortable. Would recommend for a short stay in Harrogate. My bedroom was a little bit small and a cold draft was felt coming through the large window.

Fabulous fresh-cooked breakfast, served by friendly staff. The Cavendish is so close to the centre of Harrogate and the Conference Centre, but is also opposite the wonderful Valley Gardens. Breakfast was very slow, which was difficult as we were all trying to get to the Conference Centre.

fabulous location walking distance to town. It was very clean and tidy great breakfast cooked to order. Excellent service and warm and comfortable. The breakfast room was very nicely decorated with lovely fixtures and fittings. Very tasteful. Very helpful and friendly staff eager to please. Quite a compact twin room!! I think they could do with a little background music in the breakfast room.
