Variety at breakfast
near to the next undergroundstation, quiet, clean, good breakfast
the room was a bit to small
Friendly reception staff. Excellent included breakfast. Very good value.
No Wi_Fi in room.
Breakfast, location to euston and other attractions, bathroom was clean
Room was tiny I was told they were small but didn't expect a box room, double bed was a mini double, room was on a slant,
Good location for walking to theatres, and art galleries. I lived in London over 20 years ago and like to return once a year, I enjoy taking my teenage children to the theatre, art galleries and to Camden market We hope to return to Hotel Cavendish next year.
My son would have preferred a self service breakfast,
The hotel was a good location, the staff were helpful and resolved issues quickly.
Room was basic, no fridge. First room shower did not work so had to be moved. Second room was under water tank and next to breakfast room so sleep was poor.
Windows wouldn't close so was really noisy. Mould all over the bathroom ceiling. Was told to move to a smaller room the day after arriving and the food was served on child sized portion. The staff were extremely rude and not helpful in the slightest.
Close to rail links Room was good
Too many stairs
the location was ok. Bed was ok.
overprized, but so are almost all hotels in London. Very noisy outside, and I heard snoring from the room next to me, so bring earplugs. The breakfast is no good, go to a pub instead.
small hotel, the basement room with water dripping all day long.
Helpful reception and other staff. Close to the tube, museums and railway stations.
Cramped room bed only just fits!
It was clean. Free Wifi.
The breakfast was Poor. The Staff were Abrupt and Rude. Don't expect to be told "You will have to Wait" when asking for two glasses for orange juice. Also male guests were given two slices of bacon sausage etc. Me my daughter and other female guests were given one??? When I asked for two slices of bacon instead of one bacon one sausage. The staff found this difficult to comprehend.
The location, the easiness of it overall.
Few problems with the key lock but staff were very friendly and assisted well
Good service for the money you pay. Most importantly, fairly clean and nice cooperative staff
Rude staff Hopelessly over priced Avoid at all costs
Nice polite staff. Breakfast included in price Good location for Tottenham Court Road
Decor very tired, needs a face lift fast. Felt like an old fashioned B&B. Very, very, very small room, I mean tiny. Teeny weeny shower/toilet. Had to step over the toilet to shut door I requested a quiet room on my booking. All single rooms are located on Gower Street side of hotel, which is a very busy, noisy road(it's a one way road and some drivers use it like a drag race strip from lights to lights). Due to heat had to have window open. Not worth £150 a night for single room.
Tripple room is just double room with sofa squeezed in. Curtens have not been washed in over 10 years. Dirt in shower and webs everywhere. Even front door and entrance are full of old paint peeling off . Garden is not a garden it is a forest. Beds overaged. Worst hotel ever and still expensive. 4 Stars hahahaha
Fair location. Breakfast OK.
The smallest rooms possible. Poor Wifi. No place to relax. Very noisy street but you must keep window open for there is no other ventilation.
Dangerous stairs Window with no lock and scaffold outside Room was dirty Staff rude
- the location
- I had booked the small type of room (the very small in fact, but I knew how it would look like). The issue was that it was cold even though it was in May (actually colder than the corridor,or the entrance hall of the hotel). I asked to turn up the heating, the person at the reception said he would turn it on, just to explain laterr that it did not work, but that a technician would come the next day ( a Sunday) who in fact never came. I asked to have an extra blanket. He said that for small rooms there was no extra blanket (in fact, I think the issue was that small rooms had no closet, due to its size, while big rooms had one, with extra blankets inside). In fact, I got teh extra blanket teh next day: the person at the reception simply did not know where they were stored. So, I complained to the manager on teh Monday, and got a 10£ discount, but I caught a cold on the first night...
great central location within easy reach of bus and tube all local shops and places to eat whithin a few mins walk. room was clean
average room size average staff average breakfast nothing wrong with the hotel if it were a 3 star but there isnt anything we saw that we that warrants the four stars the hotel has
Staff very courteous and helpful cleanliness excellent I was in room 109 which was tiny so very cramped even for me as a petite female. however everything was there that was needed and it was excellent value for money
Very good location. Staff was very friendly.
No elevator. No A/C and room wasn't very airy.
Location was superb, only a twenty minute walk to Oxford St. And close to British Museum. Great for access to Euston station. Staff were friendly and helpful which was great. Room was a good size for three and decent tea facilities. Breakfast was freshly made and a good selection. Great value for money
We had a lower ground room which although a good size was quite oppressively hot with no a/c.
