The staff is one single reason to chose this hotel. Excellent in all functions.
Concierge and parking services was good.
Noise from the lift shifts underneath the room throughout the night. Couldn't sleep!
Friendliness & helpfulness of staff. Convenience of location. Clean and neat everywhere.
Room doors tend to bang when closed. Soundproofing between rooms not the best.
General facilities acceptable
For the price the rooms were small. Space in the bathrooms for toiletries etc very limited
Location, fantastic buffet breakfast, high standard of service.
When booking an executive room I asked for a room on one of the highest floors. Unfortunately reception staff took no notice of that. Room on the fourth floor was rather nosiy. What's the point of putting the remarks during booking ???
Slamming doors! Poorly fitting windows. Dreary lounge.
Quiet ,little traffic noise. Service & staff faultless. Would not hesitate to stay again when next staying in London
Nice welcoming staff, great location next to Fortnum and Mason for tea lovers, nice king bed, big room with good view (Big ben, London eye...), good bathroom, free wifi in-room
No breakfast included at 346£ per night, noisy street at night, windows are not soundproof
Welcome seemed sincere and inviting. Loved the upgrade to a suite. Loved having an Expresso machine available and delicious shortbreads for a late night snack or pre breakfast. Truly appreciated the attention to details- umbrella, iron , hair dryer, safe and bathrobe for your use. Loved the location- tucked away but in walking distance of Piccadilly, theatres, shopping, restaurants and conveniences. Loved our stay and would go back again.
Nothing apart from we couldn't stay longer.
Really enjoyed my stay, great location and vet clean rooms. The breakfast was amazing but we didn't include it in our booking so was a bit pricey.
We stayed in the Cavendish for five nights and loved it. The staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for us. My husband and I have stayed in many hotels but agree that our stay in The Cavendish couldn't be faulted, would definitely stay again.
As honeymooners, we were surprised with red flowers, champagne, chocolate and a 'Congratulations' card from the hotel management and staff in our room! Clean rooms, excellent service, extremely friendly staff & definitely perfect location!
Location and efficiency of staff. Couldn't do enough for you. Will be back!
Noise(letting doors slam as they incessantly popped in and out of each other's rooms, shouting in corridor) of large American party who obviously forgot they were sharing the floor with other guests. That is not a negative issue with the hotel but symptomatic of thoughtlessness of lots of travellers
Location was excellent, room was small but well appointed and extremely comfortable. I would definitely stay at this hotel again and will recommend it highly.
A small built in refrigerator would have been great. Shower drain in the bathroom was too small and subsequently the water was very slow in draining.
Location was spot on, the staff were very friendly and the rooms were very comfortable and clean. Would definatley recommend this hotel to friends and would stay there again myself.
Excellent location for the things we wanted to do
Breakfast too expensive
Location perfect for our planned activities in Piccadilly area Nice modern feel, but traditional approach to customer service
You can here the lifts in the room.
A long wait for check in to room half an hour. advertised 3pm couldn't get in until 3.30pm
Good location with very helpful and friendly staff. food in the restaurant was great.
The room was smaller than expected. bathroom had a couple of faults, downlighters rusty and flaking metal, bathroom extractor did not work.
- Outstanding staff and excellent service - A wonderful restaurant that deserves to be full every night....cooked our salmon better than almost anywhere in Vancouver (which is knee deep in salmon) - A flawless location near to parks, sites, extravagant window shopping, restaurants, theatre and more - Free WIFI
If you need a pool, a gym and the like, it's not the place for you
Attention to detail was great. It was my wife's Birthday and she received a cake and a card from the hotel. Location is as good as it gets. A new innovation this time around was flavoured water drinks dispensers in reception.
Nothing. Everything was to our absolute satisfaction.
