Very handy and within walking distance to lots of attractions. Very clean and quiet with excellent staff who were very helpful, courteous and friendly at all times. Our room had adjustable air conditioning which was very convenient also. I would definitely stay there agan and will be recommending it to my friends and colleagues. There was nothing about this hotel I did not like.

That it was central to all shops. This is not a complaint, but a fact. - They insisted that I had to pay for the rooms, when in actual fact, they had taken the money off the credit card 6 weeks in advance. They blamed booking.com agents. Had to use own phone to call banks in own country to prove to them that everything was paid, as they had no knowledge. Took 1 hour upon arrival insisting that everything was paid. As a regular guest, I should have been offered a free upgrade for the commotion made as to regards to the payment. They should not take total amount of money before the stay at the hotel. Also offering a bowl of fruit or a bag of nuts for regular guests isn't as good as offering perhaps a free dinner.

Convenient location Poor room: too small and the furniture and its layout were inappropriate. To stay in a hotel for nearly a week with no shelves for clothes etc at the price charged (weekdays £399 per night) was absurd.

We have stayed at the Cavendish previously and value for money and location meant we were happy to go back. However our room on our second visit was not as good as previous room. The breakfasts are excellent. Wifi was only available on a 24 hour basis in the lobby with passwords changed daily.

We booked two rooms and the Hotel had no record of the second room being booked, we had to produce the booking confirmation sheet on both check in and again on check out to prove that we had booked and paid for two rooms.

Perfect location. Hotel staff very kind and friendly makes you feel cosy and really welcomed . The umbrella in the room is a very nice thought . I should also mention the linen towels and the cleanness at the tables where breakfast was served.

It was standard fare for a medium cost London Hotel paying for internet access. neither I nor any of the staff of Veraz will stay at the Cavendish again because of this mean-minded and petty behaviour. I was and still am outraged. When I spoke to staff about it I was told that it was company policy. Veraz now has a company policy never to stay at an hotel in this chain. AB COE Veraz

Excellent location. Good facilities and friendly, efficient staff. The standard room was large enough for our short visit and was clean, comfortable and well equipped. If staying longer than a couple of nights we would upgrade to get a larger room. We were very pleased with our first visit.

We always stay at the Cavendish on our trips to London. We find the staff extremely pleasant and helpful. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. This time we were upgraded as it was my birthday and a birthday cake was placed in our room along with a card. They are very attentive to your requirements. We would not stay anywhere else.

My wife and myself really enjoyed our stay at the hotel, the staff were so friendly and we cannot fault anything , the location of the hotel is excellent, so central for everything, I was there on business which meant my wife could just walk to all the stores to shop. Also we went to one of the theatres to see a show, the hotel is in a prime location for all the theatres. I would definitely use your hotel again when I come back and also will highly recommend it to all my friends and business associates. Cannot fault anything with hotel, had a really enjoyable time whilst there.

"Superior Double Room" is very small. Space enough to go around bed. And the bed for two is much too narrow and uncomfortably soft.
