The Cavendish London  

It was standard fare for a medium cost London Hotel

paying for internet access. neither I nor any of the staff of Veraz will stay at the Cavendish again because of this mean-minded and petty behaviour. I was and still am outraged. When I spoke to staff about it I was told that it was company policy. Veraz now has a company policy never to stay at an hotel in this chain. AB COE Veraz

Perfect location, excellent help from the concierge and check-in staff. Proximity to many highlights, and easy tube access from both Green Park and Piccadilly stations.

Charging 15 pounds for a day's internet access is an insult to a traveler willing to pay the expensive price of the hotel. If they have wireless internet in the building, then charge a little extra for the rooms, and do not whack a guest with a supplemental internet charge. The selection of TV channels was good--if you're British. A selection of the major continental channels would have been nice, especially German and French.

The window from which I could get the amazing city view was in need of repair - a small gribble.

Disappointing value for money - paid more than Cavendish booking rates .... bathroom v small and lacked the wow factor ( at the price paid )

My wife and myself really enjoyed our stay at the hotel, the staff were so friendly and we cannot fault anything , the location of the hotel is excellent, so central for everything, I was there on business which meant my wife could just walk to all the stores to shop. Also we went to one of the theatres to see a show, the hotel is in a prime location for all the theatres. I would definitely use your hotel again when I come back and also will highly recommend it to all my friends and business associates.

We loved the panoramic view of London from our 12th floor room. We also were impressed by the bar staff who always remembered what we liked to drink. The food both in the evening and breakfast was exceptional. The location was perfect, especially for men who enjoy shopping and close enough to all the sights of London to walk in.

We booked two rooms and the Hotel had no record of the second room being booked, we had to produce the booking confirmation sheet on both check in and again on check out to prove that we had booked and paid for two rooms.
