Nice room, clean, comfortable. Friendly and efficient reception staff.
Only 2 power sockets in the room.
everything. staff very friendly and helpful
nothing to dislike
I liked the way we were treated and the beautiful hotel,we will definitely stay again.
When having our meal it was very cold due to the doors opening all the time.
Friendly staff We were able to check in to our rooms early Lots of Parking Great Location Lovely bar Beautiful hotel (the building itself and the rooms)
Hotel and staff went above expectations! Every need was accounted for. Well done!
Wifi only worked in lobby area and even then it was nearly non existent.
Excellent coffee provided in the bedroom hospitality tray.
Noisy other guests.
Excellent breakfast. Marvellous choice and staff were very efficient.
Difficult to find for strangers to Harrogate. Needs better signage.
Great location with lots of parking. Pleasant helpful staff.
Room needed a face lift.
We were here for two nights on business and enjoyed a room at the back of the hotel which was very quiet. Lovely comfortable bed. Staff all very helpful and pleasant. Hotel is not in centre of town but in some ways this is a plus as it is in a quiet location.
The breakfast was terrific. We went to Betty's the next day and it was nowhere near as good for choice, temperature, price.
The bar prices
The location was very convenient, ten minutes walk to town centre. Room comfortable and hotel very clean. The staff were friendly and efficient, in particular those on bar service.
The shower had a mind of his own, unable to keep a constant temperature. Lack of drawer space, which is OK for one night, but we stayed for four and essentially had to keep clothes in the suitcase. Breakfast very average.
Could have done with more than one bath towel and one hand towel per room
Brerakfast was well stocked and delicious
Very comfortable room
Everything, people, food, room very welcoming clean and warm
Once there the staff were helpful and the facilities good. Our room was a good size and clean and well appointed. We slept well and our early morning call was a person and on time. Breakfast on both days was very good. We used the restaurant on the Saturday evening and the food was good and well presented.
I tried to phone the hotel a number of times during our journey to Harrogate, but although I let the phone ring no one answered it. Consequentiality when we arrived the restaurant was full. The receptionist did apologise but just said she had been very busy and on her own.
Good bar menu a shame the cutlery old and odd. Tiny knives
On arriving we were told that the receptionists colleague had given my twin room to someone else and I now had a double room. I was travelling with my friend and this was not acceptable. I complained and the receptionist said they could try to put a put-up bed in for me.after much complaining she said someone had not checked into a twin room yet. So I said well I'll have that room and you can explain to them. She gave me the twin room but this is not what I would expect after a long day of travel and work ! Also the shower curtain was very mouldy and mthe rooms need an update. Stairs were impossible to find when we left in the morning
Excellent location for our trip. Easy walk into the town for shopping. Breakfast was very good, well managed and had a large variety of options.
Having to check out !
loved the hotel, very classy, my bed was soooo comfy, excellent breakfast and very handy for walk into town centre.
All the staff were polite, helpful and informative. The placement of the hotel was excellent as we we're able to walk to the shops, conference centre and to restaurants. One if the bar staff suggested a French restaurant for an evening meal. Which we found easily from his instructions and the food was wonderful. The ambience in the lounge bar was very relaxing and comfortable and we enjoyed a couple of hours chatting and drinking there.
We couldn't get a table in the hotel bistro until quite late because we hadn't booked. But the restaurant staff did not suggest that we could have eaten in the bar, which would have been easier for us as it was raining hard outside and we didn't know the area. Luckily we we're directed to a French restaurant instead by a member of staff. But we got soaked going out.
Went with my boyfriend for some us time. Everything we could have hoped for and more.
The hotel has a massive car park and is only a ten minute walk from the centre
Adding breakfast would have been very expensive at £15 each (think it's cheaper in bettors tea rooms)
The only negative I could possibly offer is the temperature of the hotel....very hot. We had our windows open the whole weekend and its November.
Lovely night in this hotel....very comfortable bed....In a fab dark room!
Water in shower could have been hotter.
