We had to complain about pubic hair all over the bathroom floor and sink when we arrived. After complaining and told it would be dealt with on our return it had not been cleaned and a member of bar staff had to clean it up. The complaint was not dealt with satisfactorily
Ease of finding, competitive rates, quality of food, comfortable bed
Room decoration a bit tired
The room was terrible, truly terrible.
The location was the main reason I stayed here and the gym/pool facilities were not far behind. The bar is great.
The room was very old and dated, certainly not living up to a 4 star status. The pool was good, however, it got very busy which made it a little dangerous. I'm sure for health & safety reasons there should be a limit on persons in the pool at any one time.
Tired rooms /decor
Staff ( especially Charlotte) very friendly
Beds uncomfortable, booked double room and got two single beds Holes in the bed sheets!!!
Booked 4 double rooms, ended up in 4 twin rooms. The twin rooms had dirt on the bedsheets and dust on the lamps / tables. No hot water in 2 of the rooms and so had to move.
Loved it would stay again x
Things missing from room like iron and dressing gowns part form that loved it x
Well placed for Leeds and Bradford, nicer location, near to motorway network, large car park.
Nothing to report
Small exec room
No cup to have drink. Had ask for it to be cleaned again. When did dust from picture above bed was swept of to b left on head board. Bath panel broke. No hot water hair dryer didn't work. In need of a major update
Good choice of buffet breakfast.
£5 additional charge for room service. Not very friendly on greeting on first arrival. Areas of hotel do need some attention as warn.
Comfortable bed Very clean Free wifi - with good signal
Slow check in TV - these days you'd expect the TV to have all of the freeview channels
Able to book in late at night. Excellent bed
Doors bang with a clunk due to weight and locks.Annoying at 6.45 if you don't need to be up at that time.It was continuous and voices carried. No signs asking people to be considerate. More peaceful in the Campanile I have stayed at, at half the price.
Location. Breakfast was good. Staff were pleasant and courteous and did move us to a superior room which was very nice.
The uninviting standard rooms were not by any means 4 star. Evening meal choice limited.
the breakfast was too expensive
bed was fairly comfortable.
no heating in room got transferred to superior room which didn't seem a lot different to the standard room except that the heating did work! Have to go outside to get to the pool/gym. corridors cold and dated.
Friendly staff , good location. Warm room , plenty storage & hanging space
Small pool , not just for residents use . Decor very dated , pillows too hard .
Everything other than the food at my annual works Xmas party
The food was appalling
Meals were very good; leisure facilities were good for what we needed .... chill out in pool/Jacuzzi and sauna; room was a nice size; staff were very pleasant and helpful
The bed wasn't too great. Double bed ...one side felt like it was sloping ...time to change the mattress
Room wasn't clean, still coffee in the mugs, toothpaste in the glasses in the bathroom, found a huge ball of hair on the floor. I'd recommend booking an upgraded room, apart from that the hotel is lovely.
Pool nice after a hard days work.
The food was excellent
The room stunk of cigarettes the tv wouldn't work and cobwebs on the ceiling
Swimming pool and gym. Value for money.
Just double beds in standard rooms. For a 4 star, it needs some refurbishment
Nice big hotel, ideal location for travelling elsewhere. Food was very good
Put on booking form needed a cot for our baby, rang the next day to check ,said it wasn't on booking form, when we checked it was, got to hotel said had no knowledge of needing a cot!! Got one in the end after a wait!! Also staff member told us wrong way to room and the layout of hotel means lifts only go to certain areas so ended up lifting pram down two flights of stairs!! Room was supposed to be ground floor aswell and was up five steps!! in the bathroom the bath had mould in the silicone!!
