Staff were lovely and helpful.
Rooms were tired and dated, really needing renovated. Quite dirty with wear.
This bed was comfy. The shower didn't fluctuate too much
Peeling wallpaper, scuffed walls, curtains that didn't meet in the middle, generally run down, non existent wifi in the room
The radiator in the room was off but the pipe below it which ran the length of the room was roasting hot.
Nice reception and dining room. Interesting, effective toaster!
It was a good venue for the event that we had been invited to
Rooms much to hot. Breakfast poor. Bar with no personality
The location was great, not far from supermarket and nice restaurants. Breakfast was nice in the hotel, good choice of hot and cold food.
The room smelt damp and old. It needs to be updated, for example we had an old style plug in our room which we obviously couldn't use. It needs to be painted and new carpet. The bed was very uncomfy, with springs sticking out and a huge dip on one side. There were marks on the bedding, as well as dust around the room.
room service good, pool good,
bed needs replacing it sank uncomfortably in the center
size of room and distance from social noise
room was too hot even with windows open and radiator turned off. too many busy businessmen running around their bosses
Hotel is lovely and we got a great deal on line. Food was great. Staff were lovely.
The room was so hot that we didn't get any sleep, even when we turned the radiator off and had the windows wide open (which let in traffic noise) - we mentioned this to the reception staff the next day and were told that other visitors had also commented that it was uncomfortably hot. Food was lovely but there was no atmosphere in the restaurant, maybe dimmed lights and candles would help?
Food and service was excellent
Poor sleep due to room too hot and poor bed
The room was warm, welcoming and clean. The food in the restaurant was excellent.
The bed was hard and extremely uncomfortable, and the shower was awful - changing from freezing cold to boiling hot in seconds, and then back again. I found this dangerous and really unacceptable. We were told to wait for dinner until a coach party had cleared, only to find that the staff were more interested in going home than fulfilling our requirements. We were ignored, our drinks order was missed, and we were left with dessert menus for over half and hour before we gave up and went to our room.
Bedroom was comfortable Bar area nice Location good just off the motorway
Breakfast was a nightmare. Very disorganised, no plates available, no bread available, no eggs, poor service generally as were not offered a hot drink. Manager was in the kitchen preparing food instead of organising the front of house.
there was very little that we did not like and everyone was extremely accommodating to our guide dog puppy.Meals were very good and the breakfast excellent
as above the bed was far too hard and uncomfortable and the pillows were hard and lumpy. It was the second morning at breakfast when we were told where everything was and what was available
Location & price
Despite there being a large wedding party on the weekend we stayed we would not have known they were in the hotel. Good breakfast and overall a good experience withe helpful staff.
The heating is on 24/7 we had to sleep with bith windows open when we stayed in the summer this was also the case. Breakfast is shocking no plates no bread no juice no eggs etc. When we got seated we never got asked for tea or coffee either this is not 4star
Spa - treaments etc
Long way to the rooms no assistance etc.
Staff on reception were very nice and helpful. There were 2 other brides milling around and my new wife became the spare :). Beds were large, comfy and room spacious
Breakfasts ordered to the room were a bit on the expensive side - £29 for 2 full english with no additional tea or coffee provided.
Good room Food in bar was good Gym was well equipped
Sauna was (temporarily) closed - Hence facilities as Good, otherwise would be excellent.
Good size rooms and good facilities. Evening food and bar menu not cheap but tasty.
The breakfast. I hadn't pre booked and was told it would be £13 which I thought a bit steep but agreed to until I saw the comgealed mess that had obviously been out some time and I cancelled it. It was only 7.30 so not even the end of the serving
Exceptionally low price compared to London and it was very close to the company I was visiting The food was excellent
Location was good and the breakfast was good.
Staff a bit indifferent and food (except breakfast) was very poor and very expensive.
very clean, staff very helpful and pleasant excellent breakfast close to motorway
How a 2 nite stay has gone up £20
Good staff, good parking, easy checkin, good food
Beds not up to the standard of premier inn
