Very convenient for where I was working. Swimming pool and Gym. Good value meals from bar. Comfortable room. Internet access good

Friendly staff, convenient location & enjoyable stay.

No frills comfortable stay. Bed, tv, shower all good even if decor of room tired. This tired decor reflected in reasonable price in my opinion

On the friday night of our stay there was also a wedding in the hotel .......... the thumping sound of the music till erly in the morning was hard to take ,,,,,,,,,,,,, I was thankfull that my wife was not travelling with me as she certainly would not have been able to get to sleep with the noise,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,ON fri night at 23.05 I approached the bar looking for a drink only to be told that it was for residents only aftr 11,,,,,,,,,,,,,, I explained that I was a resident but was told that I needed some sort of pin number or proof of room no to get served ............. I was unaware of this ...............and decided 2 pass on the drink and went to bed,,,,,,,,,,,

Good location for a dineer in Huddersfield.

Aggresive opening-pay now or leave a credit card. Had a long journey and was pretty fatigued when I arrived so needed a soft warm welcome. 2 others at check in when I arrived so I suppose the lady wanted to move me on!!

The staff dealt with the complaints I had promptly

I was dissapointed with the standard of room for a 4* hotel, I had to be moved once due to the bathroom being unclean and the in house wifi being very poor (this was acknowledged as a problem on floors others than the ground floor) my first nights stay was dissapointing as there was a function playing very loud music until 2.00am when approached the managress did not seem to fully understand the issue.

Expensive. Food and drinks also expensive and despite trying to be a foody place, the food was poor. £71 for a 2 course meal for 2!! I had to send my breakfast order back twice before I got what I actually ordered. Facilities were grotty. Photos on website quite misleading. Do yourself a favour, don't stop here.

We liked the location of the Hotel, it gave us great access to Hudderfield and Holmfith, the reason for our visit. We also love that the Hotel accept amimals because we had our pet cat with us. Many thanks for the experience. Shereen & Lincoln Anderson

There was some noise in the corridor outside our room on the first night of our stay at 2am in the morning that kept us awake. This involved one drunk customer trying entice another into the room, this went on until 3:30am. We didn't report it because it might have caused further problems and disturbed even more customers. This not a complaint but to make you aware that customer who have had a bit to drink should or could be monitored to make sure they get to their room quietly and safely. We hope this helps

Convenience for my intended purpose.

The hotel concentrates on functions and events. We had a very poor experience at the hotel because of the clientelle that the hotel atracts, We ( my wife and I and two other family members) stayed for two nights at the weekend ( friday/saturday depart sunday) whilst vistiting our son now living in the area. The hotel events are extremely loud and reverberate through the hotel for all of the evening, after eventually getting to sleep we were awoken in the early hours of the morning by shouting and prolonged commotion in the corridor outside of our room, this happened on both nights of our stay. The hotel offers relatively comfortable rooms and a reasonable breakfast. Complaints were made to the senior management. I will not be staying at this hotel again.
