I loved the whole experience I had with the cedar court hotel Huddersfield & Halifax, the facilities were of the highest standard, the staff made me feel welcome and comfortable, there was a wide range of things to do at the hotel and it gave me the opportunity to experience what life could be like living in that area. Overall, I had the best weekend of my life and for the hotel to play a major part in that, is testament to what a fantastic job they are doing. Thank you all so much and look forward to my next stay.

Excellent on site facilities. Good food and very clean. Very pleasant decor and great position for the m62. Friendly and courteous staff. The beds were a little hard for my taste.

Motorway is nearby to get away from it. The hotel is very average for the price (£75 night excluding Breakfast). The rooms are very average, decor is like in The Shining (only the kid of the trick was missing), its noisy (both from outside and inside) and the 'hot' water was lukewarm at best.

Clean, Tidy. Entrance Hall and main dining areas were pleasant. From the advertisements for the hotel it appears to be a great place to stay but upon arrival it just wasnt quite what I would expect from a 4* Hotel. The rooms were of a very basic standard, the walls between rooms were thin so you could hear a fair ammount of noise from surrounding rooms. Unfortunately, I would not be recommending this location to others.

The hotel was good with very helpful staff. Room was clean and well equipped, but had no a/C. Food was well presented and good, it could be improved a bit. I will stay there again.

The walls of the hotel rooms were wafer thin and with a disco taking place in the hotel, we could hear the music playing through the walls. We requested for a change of rooms and the staff moved us from the second floor to the first floor where we then had to put up with having to hear drunken guests leave the disco. The decor of the room needed updating. Paint on the wall was patchy and the sheets of the bed was not even tucked over the top of the mattress. The breakfast was charged at £19.95 per person for sausages and bacon that was constantly being re-heated! The fruit salad was out of a can!

As a 4 star hotel I expected high standards. However the carpet in our room 354 was thread bare, the toilet seat was split and nipped our legs and the bed was so hard it was very uncomfortable.

Not much really Expensive. Food and drinks also expensive and despite trying to be a foody place, the food was poor. £71 for a 2 course meal for 2!! I had to send my breakfast order back twice before I got what I actually ordered. Facilities were grotty. Photos on website quite misleading. Do yourself a favour, don't stop here.

We spent a Saturday night at the hotel. I thought the Spa/Pool would be too busy on a Saturday afternoon but we had the place more or less to ourselves. The hot tub was fab and the steam room/sauna very relaxing. Pool isn't huge but big enough for a swim. Rooms were nice, clean and quiet. Staff very nice an helpful. Would stay again.

We liked the location of the Hotel, it gave us great access to Hudderfield and Holmfith, the reason for our visit. We also love that the Hotel accept amimals because we had our pet cat with us. Many thanks for the experience. Shereen & Lincoln Anderson There was some noise in the corridor outside our room on the first night of our stay at 2am in the morning that kept us awake. This involved one drunk customer trying entice another into the room, this went on until 3:30am. We didn't report it because it might have caused further problems and disturbed even more customers. This not a complaint but to make you aware that customer who have had a bit to drink should or could be monitored to make sure they get to their room quietly and safely. We hope this helps
