Very relaxing, I treated my husband to two days of pampering for his 50th birthday. He's now converted, he loved the treatments by the expert therepists, ie. Massages and facials. I wasn't advised to book the treatments beforehand and they were all fully booked, luckily the very helpful efficeint clinic/salon manageress sorted it for us. |

From the moment you drive into the private grounds to the time you get into the pool, or enjoy the restaurant, it is a quiet haven of pleasure and tranquillity Good news and bad news is that the mobile/wifi reception is minimal... |

Friendly and helpfull staff. Lovely warm rooms. Good food served promptly. Nice relaxing atmosphere. Comfortable beds. Ensuite bathroom poor with no wash basin and no mirror. Shower pressure and control poor. TV very small. Lack of electrical plugs in front of a mirror for hairdrying. No where to put toiletries down by wash hand basin in bedroom. Little to do in the evening. Bar area not very comfortable or welcoming. |

The shower in the room was awful - very tiny and the shower head was no more than 2" wide! |

Wonderfully relaxing, almost spiritual. Enjoyed the pilates class and had an amazing reflexology treatment by Alex.Fantastic food. Rooms are a bit tired and could do with a spruce up, but nevertheless were both clean and comfortable. |

The relaxed atmosphere in the hotel and the fact that the use of the facilities was included in the price. A bit doudy and could do with brightening up. |

Beautiful landscape in Somerset area. Silent and comfortable atmosphere in the hotel/spa. Rooms were luxuary and spaceful with a lovely gardenview. Unfortunetly, we spent only one night. A recommendation to the hotelstaff. The tablecovers were dirty and regular replaced by new ones. Please bear in mind that quests notice this. |

The views were stunning. The building itself is magnificent. The general quietness and peace of the environment was very relaxing. The shower facility in my room was not up to modern requirements. I Did not like the system of allocating available tables at breakfast. Some of the waiting staff were very pleasant but lacking training. |

Friendliness of staff, availability of beauty and relaxation treatments. The pool area and loungers outside pool, dining room. The therapy rooms were awful, the one I went into looked like a prison cell and I was tempted to walk out. The masseuss was excellent however. These are qualified staff and are the pinacle for the success of cedar falls. |

Very nice place to stay. Facilities all well maintained & available for use. Food served in the hotel was lovely too. I will return. Opening hours of facilities could have been slightly later. |

Comfortable room and the food was good although service slow. Nice grounds with facilities for swimming, tennis, golf. This is a 'Spa' experience and not a hotel (bar closes at 9 pm). |

Quiet location in a lovely house where there was access to the grounds. If the weather had been better then the outside pool might have been wirth a try - although it was unheated. Staff not very friendly - didn't even ask if we had enjoyed our stay at the end. Food very expesive and so didn't try it - £25.00 per head for table d'hote! Bar closed at 9.30pm so didn't get to try it (went to local pubs etc which were excellent). We got the impression that this could have been an excellent hotel - but things were missing and they led us to believe the that the company simply want your money - eg: toiletries in the bathroom not refilled; had to ask for extra milk; fruit at breakfast not topped up when empty (so later people couldn't have any); had to ask for coffee refills at breakfast. No free of reduced prices treatments for residents and yet the place was overrun with people going there for the day so facilities reduced. |

not much to be honest - the treatments were good and spa staff very helpful - shame the hotel staff were not likewise the size of room was small for the money - in fact it was tiny and noisy (situated above the kitchen deliveries). |
