Friendly, helpful proprietors (Caroline & Jonathan) & staff. Excellent cuisine/menue. Our room (Coniston) comfortable & well appointed. Enjoyed our few days there & will return in the future.

Superb hotel in beautiful surroundings, amazing food and excellent service.

The whole enterprise was run on a finely tuned business model, with customer service as aits driver, but with a friendly and welcoming ambience. There was nothing to dislike.

Every aspect of the stay was beyond reproach. We did not dislike any aspect of the visit.

We had an excellent stay in a beautiful small hotel with great facilities and friendly staff. We don't often return to a place twice but we will certainly go back to Cedar Manor.

We felt very welcomed by the owners and their staff. Nothing was too much trouble as they were always on hand to help with their extensive knowledge of local sights and amenities. It was also very heartwarming to find out it is a family run hotel rather than a chain. The dinner, location and service were all first rate so we both enjoyed our stay. Indeed we are looking forward to our next visit.

The inn keepers were very helpful and attentive to anything we needed or asked about. The grounds and public rooms are extremely well appointed and comfortable. The food was first class - we ate in the restaurant one of the nights we were there and the service and food were outstanding.

Welcoming and friendly this is an excellent small hotel. Ideally located in pleasant gardens it is just a short walk from Winderemere town centre . Our room was small but well appointed and very comfortable with all mod cons. Free wifi throughout hotel. Excellent inclusive breakfast. Very good restaurant- good quality using local ingredients. Well selected wine list Would certainly recommend Cedar Manor

The food was excellent. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The standard and quality of the fittings and surroundings made you forget the hotel actually sits on the side of the road.

Disappointed about the size of the bath and bathroom - the photos online certainly gave the impression they were bigger.

Very nice surroundings. Well located within 5 minutes walk of Windermere and only 1.5 miles from Bowness. Room was beautifully decortaed and spotless. Excellent facilities and very helpful and friendly staff. Food was delicious!!

Only stayed one night and I wish it had of been more as we used it as a stopover on our way back from Scotland. !st class hotel. Johnathan and Caroline made us feel really welcome. The room was very comfortable (Coniston) and the food was superb. We stayed at a lot of hotels in our time away and this was undoudedly the best we found. Will make the effort and return that's for certain.

The hotel had many amenities including a tub, which most don't offer, breakfast, plenty of outlets, a fan (whoo hooo from this American), a refrigerator and water and the tea items every day.

The furnishings were way too modern for the location. They were not warm and cozy as I would have liked.

Very small and quiet. Owners and staff helpful and friendly. Very clean. Good choice for brrakfast. Fresh milk daily in room for making tea/coffee. Guide books in bedroom and also downstairs for f guests to read.

Eevrything. Breakfast, the room, the bed, the en suite, the sauna bath, the staff, the lounge. Couldnt fault a single bit of it.

The Hotel was clean, comfortable and a warm welcome on arrival. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was excellent and the bed very comfortable. The staff were polite and helpful. A quiet and relaxing hotel with good advice on the surrounding places to visit. The food is quite simply Divine. Breakfast was all you ask for and dinner...... well, try it for yourself.

Very comfortable and relaxed atmosphere with good location and access to town and tourist attractions. Good car parking and attractive gardens. Comfortable room and excellent spa bath - very much enjoyed after walking some the local area.

cleanliness of room was excellent. staff were all friendly, helpful and informative. stay was quiet - which was one of our main reasons for travelling. and not central to town, but not too far from restaurants / lake etc

It's a very well run hotel with lovely accomodation, perfect location for all the lakes and the breakfast and a la carte dinners are of the highest quality.

The hotel was quiet, comfortable, and the welcome friendly. Food was excellent.
