I felt that every effort was made to ensure that we had time to relax and unwind. There was nobody chasing us around with a time table. Our evening meal was superb with so much choice and beautifully displayed. |

This was not our first stay here, we went back this time so that my partner could play the 2010 course which he thought was ok. it has a good choice of restaurants and two other golf courses which are very good. The spa is superb as are the treatment staff. |

The staf were pleasant. The room ws comfortable but the facilities were a bit dated I booked in at the same time as another couple. Although I was staying in a room of my own and my booking was separate, when I went to settle my bill the following morning I wws told it had already been settled. I insistede I had to pay but it took a good 15 mins to sort it out. It was the first time I had been anywhere on my own since my husband died and I got quite upset.. The television in my room didnt work and I had to have it changed.. I ordered a pot of coffee with my breakfast but this was overloked and I had to ask again. |

The reception we received at front desk was second-to-none and the breakfast (included) was fantastic. We were a little disappointed that both of the coffee areas were shut in the morning once we had checked-out, as we had an hour to wait before moving to our next destination. |

The hotel is ideally situated on the edge of a city but also excellently placed for the countryside visits and scenery. The hotel staff dont see guests as a priority, I had to ask for my mini bar to be stocked 3 times, The bathroom was not cleaned and the tolietries were not renewed or replenished until mid way through my stay. I have stayed there before but I doubt that I will do it again. Just not value for money, 5* cost for 3* service. |

Its a unique experience for the UK because it is very large but has some quality about it. It is not made clear that it is essential to book everything before your stay otherwise you will not get into the restaurants or spa treatments as they are fully booked. |

The facilities generally, the choice of restaurants, friendly knowledgable staff. The ambience was pleasantly warm, welcoming and relaxing, staff attentive but not intrusive The free shuttle to and from retaurants. The complimentary champagne with our meals at the Lodge. My wife says "whats not to like". The pool showers, both male and female, are in need of some maintenance a make-over even. I did not receive a reply to my email about possible dinner packages. My Sirloin steak at the Lodge on thursday night was distinctly average unlike the rest of mine and my wifes meals which were superb. |

The suite we stayed in although thought TV should of been plasma for price if room, champagne not in room as ordered, no bath robes, something complimentry however small would have added a nice touch for a five star, even bed being turned down at night. Its the attention to detail which seperates a good 5 star from a brilliant 5 star. Not really as I think it is a great treat to stay there, I would just reiterate my previous comments. There were many times trying to contact room service with no reply. |

Excellant service, welcoming staff. Great breakfast. Plenty of parking. Golf facilities & staff superb. Beautiful rooms, large bathroom, like the separate bath & shower. The outside of the building, this isn't in keeping with the rest of the complex |

The range of facilities, restaurants and activities was excellent. You could pick and choose to be energetic and do loads....or do nothing and relax! I can quite honestly say the only thing I didn't like was that it's too far from home for us to make it a regular visit! |
