Efficient staff and very attentive. Lovely view from our room.
The bedroom was far too hot, a little old fashion in décor, very 80's. The meal in the Terry M was nice but not exceptional and was not value for money. A little disappointing. Feel the £15 parking charge a bit much when you are resident and paid £49.50 for dinner.
Staff and facilities were excellent
Room was very shabby and a bit dirty
Rafters / Staff /
Room - noisy (motorway) Kids in pool and Jacuzzi (tho was half term!) Breakfast - Need pork sausages not those horrible cumberland things!
I loved the lifts provided to different parts of the resort and the room was fantastic along with breakfast in the morning. It was all very well run
The prices are a little steep for drinks but that was expected giving its the best hotel in wales.
Excellent place to stay and the spa facillties were great.
Disappointed with the meal at the Olive Tree restaurant.
Liked the golf club pool and spa Liked cycling Merlin bar puddings were amazing Breakfast was great and clean and tasty Grounds were stunning Shuttle service was excellent
Room too hot Forum swimming pool touch cool and strong chlorine Changing rooms floor dirty mud everywhere No swimming shorts dryer in golf club changing room
An amazing trip staff were so great throughout the stay..we had lots of help having a young baby with us. Very friendly and welcoming. Great stay overall
Ate dinner at The Grill wasn't too impressed.
Staff so curteous, very clean resport, good deal so stay was value for money. Excellent breakfast!
Three calls to sort out bathrobes, then only 2 arrived instead of 4. No towels available at pool due to high demand.
From the start the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable with views across to the severn bridge. The choice of restaurants gave options as to what we wanted to eat, we chose the Grill and thoroughly enjoyed the meal. We also made good use of the swimming pool.
All other aspects of hotel.
Only downside was the room being very stuffy
Lovely hotel. Luxurious pool. Helpful staff.
Bedroom looked tired, needed new wallpaper and paint. No slippers in our room. Shame about the other guests who didn't dress for dinner. Pool has some very sharp edges where the tiles are broken, cut my finger on them.
All of it!!
Helpfulness of staff and facilities
I'll keep it simple, the pillows provided were of poor quality. Need to have different options as some people like soft, medi or hard pillows.
All of above.
Popeth fel dylai fod - everything as it should be!
There was only one bath towel which in a double room was a paramount error and affected the comfort of bathing.
The room size and bed.. The bath room. The check in staff and relaxed feel throughout the resort. The spa and health club.
The olive tree was far to expensive for food quality and service. Waitress all very young and took our drinks when half full then told me they were empty. Was not impressed
Everything you need for a comfortable stay with plenty activities for keeping you active if you want them , top rate hotel .
Don't think they should be charging £15 per day for parking after you have paid to stay in the hotel not good .
The room and leisure facilities were
Overall, the venue was fantastic!!
Whilst overall an excellent venue and stay for me, the restaurant staff, in particular, the breakfast staff were overly speedy in trying to clear the table and always seemed over your shoulder watching you. I felt there were too many staff there actually. As a solo diner, I left a full cup of tea and juice to visit the buffet cart, which was in view of my table (if the staff bothered to check on me), but I returned to find my drinks gone and cutlery vanished. After re-laying the table, I went again to visit the juice cart and watched them remove my tea again!! It started to frustrate me I must say. Too prompt because too many people looking to justify their functions it seemed?!
Pool, Sports facilities .
Limited Bar Menu
Had to que for breakfast and was not impressed with quality of bacon/eggs etc on cooked breakfast choice!
Beautiful hotel and location. Staff are very friendly.
Only one menu suited my 6 year old daughter...she is a chicken nugget and chips kind of child but none of the nice restaurants catered for this. I would suggest checking the menus before booking a table.
all staff willing to help and efficient. very good breakfast, comfortable room
difficulty in logging onto wifi - staff also had the same difficulty. surprise that hotel residents are charged £15 for the adjacent car park
