Room size and comfort, breakfast, heating and shower, location.
A bit over-priced.
freindly staff at reception desk
noisy couple having sex
Comfortable bed. Clean. Good bathroom. Liked having a window in the bathroom for ventilation. Good location for walking to the college and the older parts of the town. Fun pub across the street. Good breakfast.
No places close to eat a late dinner, but not the fault of the Hotel, of course. Also, I'll mention there was no lift, but was not a problem for us.
Very close to the centre of Cambridge with ample parking. The hotel is very clean and the breakfast was OK but a little bland.
The bed seemed small and sagged quite a bit.
Good location as it was only a 10 - 15 minute walk to the city centre.
The standard double room was very small with not even enough space to pass each other. The ornate canopy and drapes over the bed were not in keeping for such a small room.
The close proximity to Cambridge centre and being allowed to leave the car in the car park after having checked out. A comfy and friendly hotel.
Breakfast was ok but choice limited. No grapefruit or yoghurts.
Too hot Restricted headroom with sloping eaves
very polite staff, good 3 star hotel, delivered what I expected for the standard.
A little on the expensive side for the standard delivered.
great location good parking
Good location, close to rail station and easy walk to centre of town
The twin room was very, very small
Perfect Parking area and good breakfast. All other things were good
No lift but not extremely important
A nice quiet room at the back of the hotel. Good breakfast. Good parking. I enjoyed my stay.
Difficult to find but actually very accessible. I chose the wrong road on the way in but my return journey was easy.
Close to railway station and only a short walk into town.
If the hotel calls the room I stayed a "Standard Room", it was just ok... But still wondering if the room No. 221 was really a "Deluxe Twin Room"?
Older style building with modern amenities and interesting decor. Well situated with walk from station and accessible to the centre of town.
Stairs were OK for us but may be a problem for some older folk. Staff assisted with luggage.
breakfast great room dated but served its purpose
cold water for shower and over priced for what it is
Staff were very welcoming and attentive. Hotel was 15/20 mins from town centre. Parking was great behind hotel. Breakfast was good.
Lots of hairs in the bath and more importantly not enough hot water to have a bath or two showers in the morning. Room was too hot and the fan provided very noisy.
Good people and nice bathroom
Ry small single room, poor internet connection.
The shower should have a handrail to assist elderly guest in and out,we felt very unsafe
We were very happy with all aspects of our stay and will certainly return. The receptionist was great - gave us so much information about Cambridge and she really couldn't do enough for us.
We have no negative comments
The bathroom was incredible, everything worked more than just OK. Nice room, a little small, but because it had two beds and I'm just one person.
The floors were slightly dirty, and the choices of breakfast. Also the clean hours were strange and somehow random (one day at 13:00, other at 17:00, the next day at 11:00..)
Friendly, clean, good brekky - but best of all is the location - very close to train station and an easy walk to the older parts of Cambridge.
Negotiating a narrow staircase with a suitcase.
staff so friendly
Did what it said on the tin. It was 10 / 15 min walk from the town centre. There is parking for some 25(?) cars. Breakfast was acceptable staff v friendly and helpful. Free WiFi
Bar and dining room v. quiet in the evening.
