The location very near the railway station; the room and the overall conditions of the hotel were ok; breakfast wa ok. The room was near the roof, so in some parts we could not stand straight |

It was clean and comfortable and convenient for the town and for visiting our familynearby. The parking is inadequate and we were blocked in on the morning we had wanted to make an early start. |

We arrived late, 9.15 pm and the kitchens were just closing. However, the chef very kindly prepared a meal for us. Our waitress, (I can't remember her name but she was about 20-years old, blond hair) was absolutely fantastic, one of the best I have ever come across! She couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. I thought our evening meal was quite expensive |

Off-street parking and excellent welcome by reception staff. Fantastic breakfast and excellent service. External noise of weekend revellers and high number of police sirens until the early hours, although I have not noticed this previously. |

Its location is great for the station - no need for a taxi even with luggage! Our room at the back was very quiet. I chose the hotel for its close proximity to Homerton College for a reunion weekend. The staff were polite and helpful, finding an ironing board and iron and even a spare key when we locked ourselves out! The cramped breakfast room made the meal feel a bit awkward and rushed. |

I liked the situation of the hotel and the easy walk into town. The room was clean and the bathroom was quite big for the twin room I was staying in. It isn't exactly a dislike, but it would have been nice to have had more choice on the continental breakfast, maybe some bread rolls or pastries. |

Friendly staff, clean rooms, a 15 min walk to the centre of town but very close to the beautiful Botanic Gardens, it was perfect for our weekend away. |

Good room. Fair breakfast menu. Very friendly and good service. Limited TV channels available (4), and very minor issues - no tissues, no biscuits provided with in-room tea/coffee facilities. |

The location. It's quiet and clean, although the rooms and beds are not big. For a two star hotel (it is a two star!), the price is too high. But then again, all hotels are extremely expensive in Cambridge. |

Room was comfortable and fairly well equipped. Staff were helpful. Fairly near to the City itself within walking distance. Bathroom needed updating. |

Conveniently situated for the City. Opposite the wonderful Botanic Gardens. Quiet at night. Comfortable beds. Ample free carparking, which is important in Cambridge. Nicely cooked breakfast. Good value for money in this relatively expensive city. This was our second stay at this hotel and we thought that the area around the hotel had become a bit run down and scruffy. Obviously this is not the hotel's fault. |

Good location, covered parking for motorbike, good traditional breakfast. As a motorcyclist, did not feel particularly welcome and bike was directed to be parked on builder's rubble. With windows open, fair amount of traffic noise. |

Excellent location for city and train station and very friendly, helpful staff. Rooms clean and comfortable Breakfast is chaos..too small a room for the size of hotel and they try and squeeze everybody into an hour and a half.....you may have to queue for breakfast in the morning!...suggest they either get a bigger room or extend the time for breakfast by half an hour to avoid a last minute rush.. |

Room was clean and comfortable Dining room was ridiculously small and we had to wait in the corridor for 10 minutes before a table became free for breakfast. Then only 2 staff serving - the hotel was fully booked so it was really not enough, they did their best but were overwhelmed. |

Breakfast very poor.....We had to queue to get into a very small dining room. We did not eat a full English Breakfast and there were no alternatives. We complained but nothing was done. We had to eat what I call cheap bread and would never eat this normally |
