Very close to public transport. A quiet place with no traffic. No luxury but friendly and convenient.
Lower level rooms vibrate a bit when trains or underground are running.
perfect hotel for london trips
Convenient location for St Pancras, KIng's Cross, British Library, University College London and British Museum. Breakfast was good - plenty of cereals, hearty cooked English breakfast with and friendly staff. Toast was a bit limp - but that's cheap 'plastic' slices bread for you! All in all I was well set up for the day.
This hotel had a really nice feeling to it. The bed was very comfortable. The room was quite small, but not pokey and there was everything that me and my partner needed. It was very clean. It was also very quiet considering it was so close to kings cross station.
There didn't appear to be a lift, so if you have mobility issues you would need to make sure you were on the ground floor.
This hotel met my needs very well. Staff were courteous and helpful. It was very convenient being able to leave my suitcase there.
Low water pressure on top floor (but hot water did come through after some minutes). No offer of wholemeal toast at breakfast.
Very good location for my purposes: British Library, nearby tube station.
Rooms rather cramped, bathrooms more so. Stairs to third floor room awkward when lugging luggage
The hotel is very very central. It is clean, good free wi-fi, helpful staff, comfortable and also good breakfast. You really get what you pay for. It is worth the money. I will sure choose Central Hotel again if I travel to London.
Rooms are a little bit small, especially the bathroom. But still very good and enough if you are only going to be at the hotel for a shower and for a good sleep.
Hotel is in good location, breakfast was ok, lots of tea and coffee in room.
Double superior room is very small, very noisy as close to main road and windows are thin, breakfast room has 4 tables and I had to sit with other people I found this ok but some people might be uncomfortable, annoying bathroom door on a spring keeps swinging shut when going in be careful it catches your heels.
excellent breakfast modern fixtures and fittings tv wifi clean in all areas
window didn't close properly - noise from main Euston Road, had to put earplugs in. very small room shower cut out and wasn't a power shower
1.Room was too small, couldn't swing a cat in my single room.
Location. Super breakfast cleanliness luggage storage Quiet room 31
Tiny room and minute shower (but we knew that before we went so not complaining). Shower intermittent. would sometimes trickle.
Friendly receptionist, informative Convenient location Not exorbitant price Breakfast included Clean room Powerful shower
Paper thin walls After use shower has smell of mildew/old plumbing Breakfast room cramped and overcrowded
The rooms were snug but very comfortable they were very clean and the staff were friendly, breakfast was good we never took advantage of the full English but saw others and it looked lovely. Would definitely go back.
The only complaint is that the toilet brush wasn't very clean
The staff were very helpful the room was clean the bed was very comfortable overall a very good hotel
The breakfast was quite small
Small room and bathroom but clean and comfortable enough. Everything worked fine. Excellent WiFi connection! Friendly staff, and a two-minute walk from King's Cross station
Room was very warm, but the window could be opened and the bed was made with an extra sheet under the eiderdown so you can choose to sleep under just the sheet if the open window is too noisy
If you are looking for clean reasonably priced bed & breakfast accommodation rather than a hotel with fancy facilities this is it. Smallish room but had TV, Wi-Fi, kettle, tea/coffee, good hot shower. Staff were friendly & efficient. Breakfast was filling. Very convenient for Kings Cross Station.
Hall was a bit shabby and only four tables for breakfast so very crowded for breakfast.
Rooms and toilet was far too small
Nice breakfast and very good location
The cat would have suffered severe injury Room not much bigger than a cupboard. Beautiful shower room which looked clean and new. But suffered fro bad musty smell
The location is really good, 2 minutes from Kings Cross and a fairly quiet road. Great pub round the corner (McGlynns) with very sensible prices
The room was tiny! It was generally clean but the shower had quite a lot of mould.
Location was great, just across the road from St Pancras and Kings Cross station. Friendly staff! A cheap stay in London! The room was tiny, but clean. They were in the middle of renovating the rooms, so my friends room was newer and nicer than mine.
Tiny room, so I couldn't open my suitcase anywhere but on the bed..
Good location and ability to leave luggage at reception.
Location was perfect, room was good for a city and WiFi excellent which is a must these days.
Only one down side, on the second morning of our stay we had two slices of mouldy toast given to us at breakfast, we didn't eat there the last two mornings of our stay after that.
Top points for its vicinity to the public transport (bus, metro, train). Cannot be any better. Clean room, spacious lobby. Will definitely return again.
Breakfast area is cramp with only 4 tables, served by a grim dinner lady. However, she did her job well.
Very kind personal that went beyond and above to meet our needs. Cute little spot within walking distance from all London popular spots. Good breakfast.
If you have huge luggage consider asking for a room on the ground floor.
