The hotel is in a fabulous location for rail and subway links. The hotel is basic but that's what you pay for, it is however, very clean. When we arrived early, we were allowed to check in 30 mins early and we could smell the room had just been cleaned. We were in a superior triple room on the ground floor, we did feel the subway go underneath the building but it didn't stop any of us from a good nights sleep. Breakfast was ok with cereals, ham, cheese and spreads/jams on offer.
Breakfast is served from 7.30-9.00 am during the week and everyone has the same idea of a late breakfast. We went down at 8.45 and we had to que for a table. There are 4 large tables but I think smaller ones would be more appropriate, our party of 3 had to split up onto 2 tables and my friend had to sit with another family till a seat was vacated on our table. The English breakfast was luke warm and the sausage was cheap tasting. Would be good if other options were given such as the way you want your eggs.
Very close to King's Cross and St. Pancras Station
-No lift -The room and bathroom is very small -Staff not very help helpful, no eye contact, too much relationship with mobile phone screen
Refurbished room,. Had everything we wanted Great value for money so close to Kings Cross
It was a very good experience staying in central hotel. Right in central area of kings cross region. Great location, and very nice price for a night staying in London. The breakfast was also great. It was much better than I expected.
location was excellent
Friendly and helpful staff, a reasonably priced hotel in a good location with good facilities.
Bathing was difficult because the bathroom was shared. And I needed slippers because I dont want to bathe on bare feet. I didnt know how the Bathing Mat was supposed to help. Instructions (for Bathing Mat) could have been be useful. Providing slippers for bathing would have been very useful.
the toilet/washarea/shower was far too small. poor water pressure at peak times. cramped dinning area.
Location and clean fresh bedding. Train too early to try the breakfast!
Small basic family room, not even a little bedside table. Only to be expected in London in this location. No lift and narrow stairs for large suitcases.
The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast good. The hotel was clean.
The room was tiny. We we only there for one night so it didn't matter but if you were staying for a few days it might be difficult p. the bathroom was so small it was difficult to move around at all.
nice room, good wi-fi
not the best breakfast (reasonable) and the bathroom could have been bigger
fire alarmed and no hot water one morning , one towel each person only
I liked the location, the cleanliness of the hotel and the VERY HELPFUL staff.
I didn't like the fact that I had to stay in a room where the wifi didn't reach and I had to stay at the reception to connect always.
Friendly and attentive Staff, clean rooms
Breakfast too early
Excellent location, low traffic street. Clean room and bathroom, cleaned up every day. Internet speed is good.
Very small room, but you don`t spend much time there anyway. Do not expect much from the breakfast, and sometimes you have to wait 5-10 mins for the table, as the dining room`s capacity is not much.
Near the station
Hot in the rooms
Very friendly staff and great value for money - obviously not palatial but for Central London very acceptable.
Rooms must get very unpleasant in hot weather - ours was very warm during a very cool 2 days.
Good location, can leave bagsvall day after checkout.
Rooms too small, stuffy,
Very central location. A step away from king's cross station. Reasonably priced and very clean.
No lift and very little space in the room
Delux room ..well i would hate to book a standard room ! The bathroom after use stank of stale water !! Also we had to change the bathroom towels
Small breakfast room
Large baggage with the stairs was cumbersome.
Waiting around for breakfast, queuing to get into dining room, felt like being at school
very good location
mouldy bread was served, which they scraped off..., poor wifi, you had to wait for breakfast: not enough tables, breakfast hours far too short, not friendly...
