Central Hotel  

Very helpful & friendly reception staff.

A little cramped.

I stayed across the road in the Fairway, a sister hotel and found it excellent the room was small but suited my needs. It was very clean and all of the facilities that I would expect in an ensuite room. Breakfasr was also very good sufficient to set you up for the day.

I definitely advice the Central Hotel for its situation (from the main door of the hotel you can see a side of Saint Pancras train station). King's Cross / Saint Pancras underground stop proposes more than 4 lines to travel easily and quickly in London (don't forget that the tube is very clean). Our bedroom (the 8) was very clean, the room service pay you a visit every morning at nearly 10 o'clock, the towels are changed everyday, also the toilet paper.

We did not succeed in solving a problem with their french plugs : the english watts are too powerful for our french items. The limit time to go to the breakfast room is too early (9 o'clock during the week and only a half past 9 during the week end). The corridors are a too narrow.

Great location. Extremely nice staff - helpful and willing. Confortable room though a bit small (but standard size for London). Excellent quality/price ratio! Nice breakfast included in price. Acceptable amenities though a bit old. Room clean, properly ventilated, not too warm, not too cold.

As said before, the room is a bit small, but it's rather standard size for London.

Pretty basic hotel, but reasonably clean. Obviously, the location near kings cross st pancras played a big part in my decision to stay there. It's one of the better places around kings cross going after the budget traveller though. Room was very small but you can't argue about the price anyway.

The location. The breakfast. Heating system was good.

Your clothes smell after the breakfast. The bathroom was way to small and not friendly.

Clean and great value for money including tea & coffee making facility; a tv with all the freeview channels and a nice shower.

There was poor internet connectivity in my room; I suppose it depends where you are located within the hotel in relation to the modem.

Staff very acomodating although they did not have information about the area and could not help with busses etc. Room was very warm and a mobile radiator was in the room for extra heat which was not needed. Windows opened to cool room. Lots of drawers etc

Too many steps for less ambulant guests- even ground floor rooms had 2 steps down then 2 steps up and the room had a step within from the ensuite to the bed area.

The hotel has central location, only few steps from King's Cross. The beds are comfortable, the breakfast is basic, but enough.

Good breakfast. Clean.

Very noisy doors in rooms above. Bad sound proofing, could hear every word couple in room above said as they were having an argument.

The room was extremely clean and the staff were courteous.
