Great location and excellent continental breakfast.
Shower over flowed due to a blockage in the drain but was sorted very quickly once reported. Rooms are very warm.
The location of this property was excellent in relation to the Victoria Train Station.
The room was small, our window looked onto the next building, the bed was very uncomfortable, the stairs leading up to the bathroom were rotten and needed to be replaced. We were very disappointed with our staff here.
Although a small, cramped room it was clean and smartly decorated. Staff and breakfast fine. Favourable location between Victoria and Pimlico tube stations, and the No.34 bus to the West End
I was initially allocated a dark room in the basement with a window opening onto an internal corridor. Not acceptable! I was then offered a first floor room at the rear with French Windows leading to a balcony. However, there was a sign saying 'Do not use' and the windows only opened a crack due to an unsightly chain. Outside were masses of pigeons and droppings which were smelly and a health hazard. This is not really good enough for £85. In addition, WiFi was an additional £14-£15 per day which is unacceptable.
Service is excellent
Internet is not free
Good central location. Staff were friendly and smiled a lot, probably with embarrassment. That's about it.
The en-suite double turned out to be a closet with a wet room. No water pressure in the shower but just enough to wet the entire floor....not very handy! No room to turn around, stow a suitcase, or get around the bed. Not suitable for more than a single backpacker with a very small backpack. Lumpy bed. Tiny breakfast room couldn't cope with the number of guests. Lift obviously powered by a very frail donkey in the basement. Not even good value for a budget hotel.
convenient to Victoria Station
Never had hot or even warm water in the shower.
The location isn't bad, I was shattered and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast included, late check-in not a problem.
Noisy, cold, dirty, basic, uncomfortable (except the bed itself), internet didn't work, breakfast very basic. Awful value for money at over £100 for the night in a below-ground room, but unfortunately I think that's just as much a reflection of the standard of London hotels.
Location. Room tidy and clean. Bed in good condition and comfortable (apart from the pillow was too thick for me). Breakfast "basic" but pleasant, and you could go back for more if you a big morning appetite. Overall, decent basic accommodation.
Wifi not working when I stayed (I was told it would be fixed by the evening but did not have opportunity to check this). Not much of a welcome when I arrived. I found the layout of rooms in the hotel a little confusing, I got a little confused where it was and could not find my room during my first 24 hours of my two day stay. The absence of a comfortable lounge area (apart from a few chairs in the entrance foyer) was disappointing. There was no door on the wardrobe it was "open" to the room and almost next to my bed. Television on wrong wall to view from bed. No large comfortable chair in the room. Pillow too thick for me, I ended up putting my head directly on the mattress without a pillow, which was not ideal.
location to subway
bathroom was extremely small-couldnt even take a shower No water pressure and very little water.
The shower didn't work properly - barely at all, the heating in the room didn't work - there were two plug in radiators, one rusty, the other without one of it's wheels that had to be propped up by the wall - neither would have passed a PAT test. If this hadn't been paid for by work, I would have left. It may well be value for money in this part of London....if this is the case, stay further out and travel.
Very good beds and enjoyable adequate breakfast very helpful and welcoming staff
Cushions and throws on beds was a bit of a nuisance for me personally I felt they were surplus to requirements and took up unnecessary space I also am not a fan of carpets in bedrooms would prefer floors that can be washed as I feel they are more hygienic in a busy hotel
The room was quiet and clean. The bed was comfortable.
Being in the basement, there was very little natural light.
beds are short for tall people
Location was good
Bedroom was very small
I had to tighten the bed legs as it was so wobbly the shower base overflowed the room was stuffy and you couldn't actually see out of the window.
bathroom very very small noisy hotel
Bed large and comfortable but too big for the room.
Room too small as was the shower room. If staying for more than one day with luggage it would have been very difficult to find space for placing our clothes and other belongings. No safe. Difficult for finding room for luggage and for large clients to get round the bed ..... Dining area too small and the selection of food poor. Toaster did not function well.
We liked the proximity to most destinations downtown. We only spent the nights there and they were reasonably comfortable. We were convinced that the staff did their best at serving us. The immediate walking area is very clean and full of local colour.
We had a four person room (two singles & a double) Cleanliness was quite acceptable but the shower/toilet area was extremely cramped. Ventilation is poor and inadequate for four persons .
Location was OK and the room was clean
Small room, shower like on a boat, bad breakfast
Good location, comfortable quiet rooms, friendly helpful staff
Breakfast room too small!
The room size compared to comfort inn in the US
The location is excellent Breakfast was also very good
The shower was poor
Location even though not too close there is a bus stop outside the hotel
WiFi only one code per device. Breakfast a bit poor. Room extremely small.
Waver of outrageous charge for wifi voucher when I complained on arrival.
Can't say I was in the least impressed. Hardly "tastefully appointed", "stylish decor", or "useful amenities". And plenty of dull ventilation noise and kitchen smell in the night. I felt ripped off. Photos can be provided on request.
Very friendly staff comfortable beds
breakfast room and arrangements very tight and airless
