While the bathroom and breakfast were basic, the bedrooms were big everything was clean and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was great very close to victoria station and pimlico tube station. Also there were plenty of lovely restaurants and bars close by. Will definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others for a city break. My only issue would be the bathroom found it very small and old fashioned but it was clean and shower was good.

Hotel has a great location. Close to Victoria coach station, underground and trains. Walking distance from main tour attractions. Restaurants and pubs are also in the neighbourhood of the hotel. Hotel offers very poor service. Check-in after 2pm. You can leave your luggage in a luggage room but is accessable for everybody so your luggage is not really safe. Hotel is a real labirynth, you can get lost in there-never take children with you!!!!! Breakfast is a let down!!! You have to be there first in the morning to get a chance to eat something and the choice is very poor. Toaster was broken and the staff wasnt really bothered about anything. You are better off eating out. Some rooms were missing shower curtains, so when you have a shower the whole bathroom is flooded. Toilets didnt really work properly. Overall the hotel offers very poor service.

Location For the price the decor was very dated. We were made to take our own baggage to the left luggage room to which we could have taken anyones bags. There was no double locking on the room door. The breakfast room was like a cafe rather than a hotel restaurant.

Very convenient but safe and quiet location for major tourist sites in Central London, appears recently renovated, clean, and included continental breakfast was surprisingly bountiful. Reception staff helpful. Good value and I will definitely return.

The hotel is very convenient - 5 mins walk from Victoria station, and 24 hour concierge, so no problem with coming back to the hotel late at night. Room was clean & quiet, and facilities were adequate for a one night stay. Good continental breakfast was included and croissants were lovely & fresh, My single room was very small - adequate for one night, but no room for even a small suitcase. Bathroom was cramped and the shower made everything in the bathroom wet. A large person would find it difficult to squeeze themselves under the basin and onto the toilet!

After spending a bit of time booking beds in hostels I thought a bit of luxury before I left England would be good and I wasn't let down by this hotel. Situated between Victoria and Pimlico tube stations with plenty of small shops and restaurants locally it is a good choice for a short stay. The staff were friendly and were ever helpful, the room was generous and it's in a quiet area just what I needed before flying out. I didn't use the breakfast available so can't comment but overall I think the place was great value for the money and would stay there again. It does have a small downside and those are the bathroom was small which didn't bother me but may if you are a couple or family, the bed mattress felt a little lumpy (but I still managed to get to sleep) and it was a bit of a rabbit warren to get to the room I had. Only other problem was the internet was expensive.

Very friendly and helpful staff, very clean room and of course the central location. The mattress on my bed was too hard and as our room didn't have double glazing and was situated directly above Belgrave Road, I didn't sleep that well.

Reception staff very friendly and helpfull The room was small but the facilities were adequate. Found dirty socks in the bed so the bedding obviously hadn't been changed between visitors. Although check out was at 11 the cleaner knocked on the door three times between 9.30 and 10.30 instead of checking at reception that the room was empty. The fire alarm went off twice during the first night Breakfast was adequate but the milk for the cereal was warm as it had been left at room temperature

Clean, modern room. Friendly staff, very reasonably priced, in a lovely location, nice and close to Victoria. The shower was more of a wet room - but the shower itself was powerful so didn't actually mind.

Helpful, friendly receptionist. Luggage room - which we used before our check-in time and after our check-out. Hotel was clean, quite well located for Victoria station and reasonably priced. Altogether a no-nonsense budget bed and breakfast which is all we needed. Radiator in room was a bit noisy but no heating at all in shower room which made it rather chilly.

Well positioned, near Victoria train/ coach station, in a area with a good number of supermarkets, restaurants and pubs. Walking distance to Buckingham Palace and Westminster. The room was confortable and clean and breakfast was adequate although not extremely varied. Pastries were especially good. The smallest hotel room I've ever seen! We stayed in a twin room, and barely had space enough to put the suitcases on the floor (and we only had one suitcase each). The photos are a bit misleading, as you can't really tell how small the room is. The bathroom was tiny as well, although to be fair, both the room and bathroom were very clean. Breakfast not too varied, although good and filling. We had a safe in the room and were encouraged to use it (for our own safety), but were charged for using it at the end, although nobody mentioned anything about the cost before.

The Central House Hotel was in easy reach of Victoria Coach Station. The hotel was clean, service good and breakfast excellent. You could leave your luggage which was very helpful. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was a supply of cold water and ice which was needed overnight after long exhausting walks in the city. We found a very good reasonable Indian restuarant nearby which made our evening meal affordable and within walking distance. We had a very nice stay there. The only criticism I would make is that due to one of our animals becoming very ill we thought that we could not make that particular booking and wanted to change the dates. This was not allowed, which made things very difficult for us However our very old dog improved and we made the trip, but the stress of not being able to change the dates could have avoided added stress at a time we were worried and upset with a personal matter. Nb : We didn't want a refund only a possible change of dates to later in March.
