Comfy bed Clean room Smiley staff Plenty of parking
Small bathroom (not a massive issue for us as it was a one night stay)
Hotel location is good, 4 Mts walk to nearby Finsbury Park station. Hotels/ Restaurants/ Super markets are also located in near vicinity. Daily breakfast is also a plus point.
Air-conditioning is not available in rooms. Wi Fi is also intermittent in Lobby. Conceirge service is not available. One of the lady staff at Reception was unfriendly.
The bed was okay
The bulding is old
Room was dirty, beds were old and had no legs...dirty scuff marks all over walls. Woke up in the morning to water pouring down the bathroom wall onto the floor...pretty much a health hazzard.
Near tube and buses Night staff were pleasant and helpful.
The woman on the reception desk was very rude and unhelpful. Room was dirty when we arrived. No bedside lamps or hairdryer in the room. Towels in the bathroom were stained. Continental breakfast was just toast or cornflakes. The milk curdled in my tea on our first day, the kitchen staff just shrugged and said there wasn't any more.
clean room. no carpet on the floor in the room
very small room on the attic, only light in the roof, no bedside lamp or bedside table. only one blanket for a Queen size bed. the stairs vas narrow and steap, we heard the neigbour very well, the breakfast was horible :toast , cheese, 2 types of jam. no internet on the room, only in the looby. the neigbourhood was poor, dirty and a littlebit of frightning.
Free Parking access Basic but clean room and toilet
Very basic breakfast Noisy neighbourhood at night Lift wasn't working
The front desk was lovely! It was extremely cheap, the rooms were spacious, clean and the beds were super comfortable. Also, free continental breakfast is always a bonus!
Can't fault it!
The man at reception was helpful when we needed some printing sorted, room was a fair size for the price, good parking facilities
Only wifi available in reception, cold shower in the morning, no fans in rooms & it was unbearably hot when we stayed, breakfast was adequate but room for improvement
Location to the park, comfy beds, good sized room.
Hot rooms, noisy, basic facilities.
The room was in the lobby floor, there was a underground, train and bus stop nearby.
Refrigerator does not work, the room was not clean, so much dust under the goods, the window was broken and the internet does not work even in the area designed to.
The location was great for me as attending wireless festival in Finsbury Park.
The bathroom was small and the shower wasn't great.
Nice room, close to tube
Bathroom was tiny Continental breakfast was only toast or cereal
Location: few mins. walk to Finsbury Park Station. Room was clean and bed was good. Some staff friendly. Good value for money if you are looking for a simple and affordable place to sleep from which to explore London.
Expect no luxury - squeaky doors and barely any sound insulation, basic bathroom facilities in the room, rooms on upper floor very hot and difficult to ventilate in the summer (no aircon), wifi at limited capacity and only at reception (not in rooms), some staff snappy although helpful (some are friendly though), hallways and toilets at reception look run-down and dirty. At this price level, all acceptable as far as I'm concerned especially because the room itself was fine, but don't expect this to be the hidden gem of low-cost London hotels.
room clean (at first day)
breakfast (really) poor room service quite inexistent
Location - Opposite Finsbury Park. I was attending day 3 of the Wireless Festival. Luggage area to leave your things if you arrive before 2pm check in. 24 hr reception cover. Room was nice, en suite with tea and coffee facilities. Small bathroom but the right size for me. Continental breakfast included. Would use again. Good value for money.
Bin in the bathroom had not been emptied. The rest looked clean though so did not complain. Stair carpets are a bit tatty but the rest of the hotel was fine.
The room was chosen purely for location and price as were attending a gig at Finsbury Park. Location was perfect, sheets and bathroom were clean but there was hair on the floor that hadn't been hoovered up. If your looking for a nice hotel for a holiday, keep looking. If you just want somewhere to lay your head for a night and aren't particularly fussed about hot water, this is for you!
Check in was the worst I have ever experienced in a hotel. 2 staff but completely unorganised and only one really knew what she was doing (shame she was rude and had no urgency!) something simple as finding the bookings they hadn't put the print outs in alphabetical order to assist with finding them. I was stood along with many others waiting 35 minutes just to check in as only one person knew how to get a cash receipt. Heidy (the rude member of staff) was clearly loosing her patience with the queue of people building. In the morning we told her that our room had no hot water and all we got was a shrug of the shoulders and a "Ok" no apology nothing. No customer service at all, this place is just a cash cow!
Quiet place, clean room, parking safe
small shower room, breakfast from 7:30 ( late) .
The location. It is great for transport from Fibsbury Park.
The room looked nothing like the photos. It was dirty. There were brown stains on the wall. No Internet unless you sit in the lobby. Breakfast was grim, plus no chairs at the tables so had to stand up?!
Dirty room filthy shower room and toilet loose broken tiles with grout missing full of germs when it rained water dripped from the bay window. Went to reception to report it and was given a pile of towels and they pretended they knew nothing about it but i took pictures and you can see its been going on for a long time. Didn't sleep because of the constant dripping right next to my head. Cost a lot of money and feel ripped off. I know they have better rooms for the same money. Ive stayed there befor but Wont stay there again unless they refund me for my last stay and lower the price to £10 per night.
Lovely room newly decorated lovely shower nice and clean can't fault anything.
I couldn't sleep properly because of a noise coming from outside probably air conditioning or something else running all night , I had to wrap my head with the pillows.
Closeness to underground facilities
no conditional, no wifi in the room, no lift
No restaurant/cafe or bar, WiFi only in lobby Lift was broken
