Location n bar open late
We stayed for 2 nights in the small double room. Upon booking I was a little worried that the room may be a bit too small but it turned out to be just fine. The bed was exceptionally comfy with very nice pillows and duvet. We also had an iron and ironing board in the room. Shred bathroom was nice and clean and it was always available. The location was great too, close to the tube station and lots of buses, also night ones, close to Angel, lots of nice pubs and bars and just 2 mins to Tesco Express. Full English breakfast was ok too. All in all I can trully recommend this place.
You must be aware that all rooms are above the lively pub. We stayed in this hotel during the weekend and could hear the music from the pub's disco night in our room. It was not a problem for us but I bet light sleepers would not enjoy that.
The staff were friendly and the rooms were spacious and nice breakfast in the morning.
There was a dirty cup in our room. The room was cold and we had to put paper in the window to stop it banging all night. Being above a pub we expected Abit of noise but even on the top floor we could hear the music.
breakfast lady and the guy that come down with my key very welcoming see you changed that room from a double to single and decorated it up very nice
Staff are so friendly and helpful. Even when we were late for breakfast the lovely lady still made us a hearty meal. The manager and other staff are always glad to help you. lovely decorately room，very elegant. not a long way from Kings' Cross！
nothing that I am aware of！
Great atmosphere with a very friendly team.
Breakfast was odd
Silence Friendship, welcoming Mattras, bed Food and beverages Owner's hospitality and good advices The fabulous woman cook
Welcome, staff, bed, shower room, breakfast, tea and coffee.
Noise! Single glazing by a main road in a busy area. Plus there was thud thud music going on until the small hours, but it seemed to be coming from somewhere nearby, not from the same building.
In general it's ok for one or two nights (max) for a solo person.. No families big time, specially in Wednesdays since its a TRANSEXUALs night
Noise level from the pub, you can also hear people talking from the rooms next door
Easy access to transport network, good location and friendly staff and a great breakfast to start the day with.
The owner was very friendly and helpful. We wanted to stay longer but it was booked out so he went online and found alternate accomodation for us. The hotel was within walking distance of Kings Cross Station, the British Library etc. We enjoyed our stay there and would definitely recommend it..
Close to the underground and kingscross.
It's very expensive for a small room. Don't feel secure at all.
This was a very gay friendly hotel, very nice people, very discfrete...excellent!!
Well run Good location
Room was cold, curtains didnt fit the window, no toilet roll, no soap, no coffee in room, safe didn't work. Windows were poorly insulated for noise and drafts. I know London isnt cheap but I do expect basic standards for the money charged. Stayed many times before and thought it was improving but finally given up, good location but there are better places to stay in the area.
Location is great, rooms nicely refurbishhed, Staff are fantastic, friendly and helpful.
great friendly staff, perfect for a night stay in london
Staff were helpful
It was very close to Kings Cross St. Pancras rail stations. Staff were helpful and accommodating. Rooms have been refurbished.
Didn't realize at time of booking it that rooms are above a bar. It was noisier than a regular hotel is. Rooms are quite small so with two pieces of large luggage, it is a tight squeeze.
Friendly service. Nice room.
bathroom a bit small
the windows not isolated ,noise and cold during the night..the bathroom out of the room..room too little...expensive for the quality
comfortable bedroom with new soft carpet and OK décor, bottled water and hot drinks in room, window box, view of pub garden, quiet overnight (it was mid-week), friendly and jolly cook who cooked a nice breakfast.
shower cubicle was very tiny, pub décor looked tired and unwelcoming.
The management gave all necessary supports in terms of direction and the breakfast was timely and nice. In short, they are hspitable
Great location, really friendly staff, nice breakfast, good entertainment in the bar and reasonably priced drinks. Will definitely stay again. Compact rooms but better than many London hotels at the same price.
Wifi wasn't great.
