Liked it's location best and obviously the price. Was upgraded to double room with en-suite which again was great. Tv, tea making facilities and fridge to me is a nice touch. The only thing I noticed was my carpet wasn't very clean and I don.t think hoovered since the day I got there. I understand in all hotels carpets are going to suffer but it doesn't take 2 minutes to hoover up crumbs.

The location was excellent - a very short walk to the High Street, easy access to most things one would want to do in the city centre. I hadn't noticed it in the fine print, but the hotel charges you up front for your room -- and so I was a bit surprised when it was on my credit card bill a month before I was staying.

I have stayed at central hotel many times & find most of the staff very friendly & helpful. The rooms are adequately equipped The bedding , although clean, is very tred, & needs to be replaced, especially the pillows.

The room we had was just perfect for us. It wasn't too cramped, had all that we could have needed. We loved having the microwave, microfridge and the basic glasses and cutlery. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was amazingly hot and fully pressured. The location was absolutely perfect, as well! Anyone who is looking for a moderately priced, perfectly situated hotel, Central Hotel is for you!!

The appartment we were given was comfortable. We were confirmed as staying in the Hotel and subsequently moved to the appartments which is not convenient in terms of location compared to the Hotel itself. None told us that for check out we should have left the keys in the appartment so we went to the Hotel to find out that there were nobody on site on Sundays and we could have left the keys inside the appartment.

Was beautiful rooms bit small but lively beds fireplace etc Had trouble with the shower flooded offered us the shared shower down the hall however did not wish to use it and complained but then they did give us keys to another room that was free next to are room as we showered in there

Radiator cold whole time we were there (5.00pm -10.00am), sash window (single glazed) did not shut fully. Thin summer duvet on bed. Night temperature was minus 3 according to tv report. Shared bathroom radiator only hot in bottom left hand corner.

The location was great and the staff were friendly and very helpful. The rooms were well equipped, especially those with en-suite. The bedding (duvets & pillow covers), drapery (curtains) and the pictures on the wall: Just too dull! The winter dark days made them even morose!

The location of the hotel was perfect The web page was very misleading - the hotel advised us not to use the car park which backs onto the hotel. (The location of the car park was why I chose to stay) - We were give the keys to an apartment which was several streets away from the actual hotel. The directions were so poor, we had to call the hotel for help. The place was very poorly signposted. There was wet paint in the hallway as we entered. The room was a self contained apartment which was very cold as the heating had not been turned on. The bed was too small and bowed in the middle. Very unhappy
