It was a great deal for the money. It is close to everything. Parking... Not sure if I can come up for a word that would describe the hell that is there parking lot.

The facilities in terms of fridge and microwave were useful. Great to have fresh crockery and biscuits each day. Good to be encouraged not to change towels every day. Rather a noisy location and I was disturbed by shouting and talking outsied the window a couple of times durign the night.

Friendly, helpful staff and I was upgraded to an apartment which was nearby and in a quiet location. Very convenient for central Cheltenham and the well eqipped apartment, with two bedrooms, would suit a family on a short city break. One small niggle was that of the late check in process using a keypad system and I was not notified of code beforehand and had to phone for key. Nevertheless, a comfortable stay and I would recommend the Central Hotel and apartments.

Upgraded to a two bedroom apartment which was great for our group. Full kitchen and washing machine meant we could catch up on washing and cook for ourselves. Ideal!

It was very well priced and was in a good location for the shops, restaurants and bars. Also 15 min walk from the football ground. A bit of noise from the street outside late at night.

Location, free car parking, value for money No remote control. Terms and conditons - it seems where ever u turned round in the room, you was reminded of the terms and conditions and costs. Made us feel a little uncomfortable.

Excellent concept of having a serviced apartment on a daily affordable rate basis. The location in the centre of Cheltenham is very good. Be careful where you park as clamping is rife near to the rear car park. Make absolutely sure you are within the hotel car park area.

A lot of effort had been put into the fixture and fittings. The staff we met were especially friendly and pleasant. Entry system a bit confusing but ok.

I arrived late so no one to help with luggage. I was not informed that the room provided, which had been changed at the last minute, was on the 2cd floor with no lift and a winding staircase. Being nearly 70 and having 2 heavy suitcases this was very dificult. I can not find any mention of the fact there is no lift on their website

Liked the location and setting with courtyard right outside our room. The price was excellent. The shower was very poor, small and water temperature going from too hot to cold. For no apparent reason

Location was excellent as we wanted to walk to all town venues in weekend folk festival. The beds were comfortable and the fridge and microwave and basic utensils, plate and glasses meant we could keep cost down by by buying ready meals and drinks to eat at the hotel and prepare snacks for the long periods at the festival concerts. The room (19) was noisy as it was opposite an all -night kebab bar.Our room was not serviced on one day but was serviced on the others. From day one we had problems with the shower. Little hot water and water not running away.We did report it to reception the first morning we could and they did try to rectify , but the problem was really a long term plumbing issue as the age of the historic building does not allow for 'normal.' (we were told by the maintenance man) The hotel would not accept that we had in fact not been provided with a proper en-suite on the first night as the shower was unusable, and the full price of the four nights was taken despite my protestations. We found the reception staff not helpful in the situation, and one was bordering on rude.No reception staff on duty at night at no staff on Sunday at all . not really a hotel service but hotel prices!

Good value for money. Was given a free upgrade without asking (slow time of the year?). Friendly, helpful staff. No wake-up alarm facilities. My room faced the main road and the curtains did not reach the bottom of the windows, so the street light was in my room all night.

I stayed at the hotel for one night. The room itself was fine, clean with a kitchenette and bathroom which was good value for money. The staff was friendly when I checked out although when I arrived in the late afternoon the reception was already closed so I had to pick up my key from a little key box. There was some appliance above the room I stayed in making really loud sort of 'drilling' noise which went on and off all night. I wasn't able to fall asleep due to that and that doesn't really make u happy if u need to get up early. The next morning I was woken up by workers doing some maintenance work by my room which was just what I needed after finally falling asleep about four o'clock in the morning. The window in my room was overlooking the backyard and every time someone started their car the light was coming into my room due to pale thin curtains which didn't help me fall asleep either. I will definitely not stay there again.

Great location, cheap and slightly above average. Would use again but not for more than one night. Bed was very close to door of hall way and any movement from other guests could be heard.

Very helpful staff on reception. I had to ask a lot of questions, related to a funeral I was attending, and received helpful answers. The Central Hotel is also extremely well named, and also helpfully close to buses. Nice rooms. Good pubs very close by, as well.
