Great location for watching the Irons Cheap for London Nice breakfast Friendly staff Good bar
Nothing- it's basic but what you expect
No positives about this hotel!
We had no hot water or heating, the beds were not up to standards and we would not be staying here again! The breakfast was also dreadful and none of us could even eat it, I know the price of the hotel was cheaper than other hotels in London but you should at least have hot water and heating.
You have an excellent pub downstairs and Jenny is a really helpful and nice bartender who helps with the hotel rooms.
Friendly staff and very comfortable rooms. Good value for money and would recommend to anyone.
Cat in breakfast area!
Freindly and helpful staff
At the bottom end of the price scale, rundown and in need of refurbishment, but you get what you pay for and the cost was cheap for London standards.
Location was key. Price was ok.
Basic facilities. Literally a bed in a room.
-The Hotel was in close proximity to the Main bus routes, and the a lot of shops. -The Hotel was a 15 minute walk from the train station. -Staff didn't care that me and my girlfriend where walking around in our Cosplay.
Our room (Room 27) had - Damp damage - A minor Bug infestation - The cups and spoons hadn't been washed from the last occupants. - The toilet door got stuck frequently and had a broken handle -Dirty and cobwebby walls and ceilings -Maid didn't speak good English, and so came into our room after I repeatedly asked her to wait. -One of the plugs didn't work and had sparks. -Door to hotel was stiff. -Cat was wondering around and meowing at us during breakfast. -Dusty and dirty boxers under the bed from a previous occupant.
the decor was very poor, but being woken at 5 am, due to tables and charirs being dragged by staff downstairs and noise resonating through the stairway, was awful!
Where do. Start ? NO WIFI ONLY 2tv channels worked fighting under the window until 4pm sat night - I'm young I don't complain about much but what a hellhole
I had no tv control or kettle.there was moldie fruit in the fridge.
- Internet (lousiest I've come across since dial up modems) - Dirty, worn down ,shabby overall - Poor breakfast hours (7.15 - 8.45)
Extremely disappointed not clean, poor staff
- Comfortable bed, clean bedding - Good, clean showers - English breakfast was ok
- Very bad price / quality relation. - The music from the downstairs pub will prevent you from sleeping before around 1am. - There was a dead mouse in my room. I could see the hole where it had come from. - wi-fi didn't work in the room. - it's in the middle of nowhere in a dingy area with just small local shops. It's a long walk to go somewhere from there. - The room was dirty: there was a huge squashed spider in my wall, they apparently never hoover behind furniture. - Bad housekeeping: bathrooms were often left uncleaned, no toilet paper in toilets, I had to go and find it myself. - They say there's a kitchen you can use but in reality you wouldn't: it's the kitchen where they cook breakfast and wash the laundry. It doesn't have any cooking equipment. - rooms are ugly with just a bed, a little drawer, a sofa table, an old chair, no decoration, nasty black carpets - windows were so high you can't see out from them, curtains put so that you can't open them really.
Customer service was good
no light in bedroom , no kettle, there was a microwave was i suppose to use that to boil water ? no toilet paper in toilet
staff was friendly
cleanliness of the room was very poor
The staff were most helpful in letting me sort my breakfast before anyone was in to work as I had to check out very early.
Staff were great! Kind and helpful..
Friendly staff, no problem with early check-in, drinking water from the tap, no-smoking area, cozy bar, shops and cafe's around, nice backyard, fridge and water-cooker in the room
Slapping doors by some guests in the morning, narrow shower cabin, very poor Wi-Fi
The rooms are very large and spacious with a microwave and a small fridge - good wardrobe space for clothes - fantastic shower - taxi to station £5 which is good for a group - - underground direct into London from upton park underground station.
The distance from underground to hotel - but that didn't spoil our fun. There are amazing take aways on the route from station to hotel so it was a bit of a bonus too
My money back,I can't advertising my friend to visit this a nightmare hotel
Everything are worse.
Very very poor service and facilities
