The Central Hotel

The staff was very friendly and helping.This point swept off all the inconviniences.Transportation to London center is fairly good.

the taxi that picked us up to go homw and the dominos pizza place across the road

the fact that there was an arrray of beds in the room,microwave that didnt work,blood on one of the pillows dead flys on the window ledge that were there on arrival and were there when we left.

Getting out of the Hotel !

The whole Hotel was poor ! Staff were nice though.

Everyone was very friendly including the customers, it was like one big happy family. Eager and willing to help with taxi's and travel info.

1. Ordered twin room, was given room with bunk beds. 2. No lightbulbs in room, did inform management after first night, was told would be fixed, wasn't. Had to come back two nights in a row to a pitch black bedroom. Had to prop fridge door open to get some light in room. 3. Mice or rats woke me at 5am scratching in the walls, informed management, was told i would be moved, never happened.

Nothing.

Everything. The decor and upkeep on the "hotel" was poor it was basically just a room above a pub. We booked a twin room and on arrival got offered bunk beds? . There was extreme disturbance all through my one and only night there with police bolting up the road. I felt extremly vunerable and intimated by the occupants within the area , and the window of the pub was shattered? .

Visiting friends

The room was nice and big, and had enough space for my things. Bathrooms were clean which i found very important.

The beds were horrible, the matrice was soft, and sunk in the middle, hurt my back in the morning, and pillow was extremely soft, not comfortable at all. Also too much noise outside, and continuous thuds throughout the night, either doors being banged, or people going up the strairs, managed to sleep 1 or 2 hours only. If these can be dealt wtih, it can be a very nice hotel to stay at.

This is no hotel, but hostel. Service is friendly and rooms are shabby. If you are used to backpacking you will not mind this hostel. Lowest prices in London but quiet out in the east. I am a women travelling alone and the area i was in is not for thouse who are easily scared. Cheers

The concert we went to see

Damp on the walls, one of the curtains was too small for the window, one extremely squeeky bed, one broken bed, one set of soclets on the wall was broken, the tv wire was too small as a result of the plug sockets not working next to it and having to stretch it to the other set behind the fridge, and becuase of this we had to alternate over 2 days between fridge, tv and 2 mobile chargers all with...

The friendly staff and good breakfast made this a very afordable place to stay. Close to where I was working and to the tube station made it ideal for my needs. Basic accomodation at a sensible price.

No plug for the bath or sink.

Only net curtains, no others to keep out some light or cold. No heating in March! lumpy mattress and pillow. No extra bedding if cold. Nothing to drink or drink out of. Room width was bunks and 3 more feet. Utterly not worth the money. Hotel is a pub and noise stopped at 11.- 11.30pm
