Customer service was good
no light in bedroom , no kettle, there was a microwave was i suppose to use that to boil water ? no toilet paper in toilet
staff was friendly
cleanliness of the room was very poor
The staff were most helpful in letting me sort my breakfast before anyone was in to work as I had to check out very early.
Staff were great! Kind and helpful..
Friendly staff, no problem with early check-in, drinking water from the tap, no-smoking area, cozy bar, shops and cafe's around, nice backyard, fridge and water-cooker in the room
Slapping doors by some guests in the morning, narrow shower cabin, very poor Wi-Fi
The rooms are very large and spacious with a microwave and a small fridge - good wardrobe space for clothes - fantastic shower - taxi to station £5 which is good for a group - - underground direct into London from upton park underground station.
The distance from underground to hotel - but that didn't spoil our fun. There are amazing take aways on the route from station to hotel so it was a bit of a bonus too
My money back,I can't advertising my friend to visit this a nightmare hotel
Everything are worse.
Very very poor service and facilities
Good clean bed
TV not working
- No parking possible in the neighbourhood - Poor breakfast - High price for such a shabby interior
I liked the old pub a lot, the room was large and clean and the people very nice and friendly. The place was clean and had no unpleasant smell, the bathroom was clean as well. We could check in before 1pm and that was great. The people living there, in the area, were very kind and they helped us giving us information and showing us the way as they noticed we were unsure about the streets, buses and such kind of things.
I would have liked ironed sheets. So I couldn't be sure if they are really proper or not. Sure they were clean, the maid changed them, but still....
Nothing. Nada. Zilch.
This is a classic case of,"you get what you pay for" not easy to get to. Tube ride then a bus ride. only 1 staff on and that was the barmaid. didnt feel safe stepping out at night. The road traffic noise was horrendous. it was like a homeless hostel!! the breakfast was served in a dilapedated old music room. Nobody cleaned our room and we had to ask for towels. Dirty dishes on the landing for the 2 nts we were there. Stay at this hotel at your peril!!!!!!!!!
I liked nothing.
The staff are unhelpful and inept. The receptionist/bartender who checked me in didn't know how to prepare an invoice. The address on the Booking.com profile was incorrect and when I called to ask for further instructions having already arrived at the wrong one I was told to ask the public bus driver! Also, unlike what was advertised on the profile when I booked the room, the underground station is 15, not 10, minutes away, and there was no airport shuttle!
Bedrooms resemble prison cells. Narrow room, single bed, one chair. Worst "hotel" I have ever stayed in.
Tge rooms where quite dirry, i found a strand of human hair on the pillow and the bed linen looked like it had nit been changed! It seemed like the kitchen dobled up as a laundry room and i saw a cat run out from this 'kitchen'! In the morning the tables for breakfast were dirty along with the cutlery i could barely eat the breakfast. I would not recomend this place to a friend, not worth a tenner!
Shower broken and slamming of doors into the early hours
Noisy, dirty, uncomfortable, hot & humid, rough location, no towels, dirty shared bathroom, unprofessional and NOT a Hotel.
wifi clean toilet
- hotel looks pretty old - rooms are in poor condition and quite different from photo - broken bed - some sheets were dirty - no wardrobe and fridge in one room
- reasonable price - kind staff - clean room - delicious breakfast - great bar at the ground level - district of the Green Street Hooligans movie. :-) Must see before traveling here.
The hotel is in the poorest district of London, but safe enough to stay. You can not find the old experience of the local people you can meet only with immigrants. This is not a problem, just don't wait more.
Cheap for London hotel. Some bits had been done up and where good.
My cheap room had a wobbly, squeaky bed.
None of it
All of it, what a place, it s about time Booking. com took some responsibility of the places there have listed
Breakfast and the lady who served it.
It needs a lick of paint and new carpets throughout
