The staff at reception were friendly and helpful The room was quite stuffy at night and a portable fan if available would have been a great help |

Very unhappy at being placed in the basement when I clearly asked on the pre-booking form that I wanted a window bedroom being placed in the basement |

The location is good, close to bus stops, the tube and convenient stores. The price was reasonable. Housekeeping staff should be told not to argue loudly outside guests' doors! They should also be aware of guests checking out and not ask to make up room two or three times before 11 a.m. on the day guests are leaving. Also, it's very inconvenient that the hotel will not store luggage for guests who are leaving on late flights. |

Covenience to the underground train station and the many halal food restaurants nearby. The first night, we were put-up in the room in the basement. The size of the room is only slightly bigger than a tomb! Go to this hotel only if they give you rooms other than those in the basements. My other 3 nights, we had rooms on the 3rd floor which was much bigger and more comfortable. |

the rooms although small were very clean. the reception staff were helpful. and the fact that the reception was 24 hours meant we could check in and out at convenient times. |

i have witnessed how pleasant and yet businesslike the ladies at the front desk conversed with their clients and provided help when necessary. Room service and cleaning personnel were equally forthcoming. This was definitely not Hotel Babylon ! |

It was very close to Kensington Gardens, Hyde Park and main shopping area of Oxford Street. It was also close to the tube and bus stops. The rooms were too warm. Air conditioning would be good in high summer. Our fridge did not work. Normally I would have reported this but as we were out a lot of the time, we didn't really need it. |

Very clean tidy hotel with good facilities for the price in central London and close to tubes, shops and other facilities. Minor point, no A/C so in warm weather a bit warm and had to have window open with attendant road noise, however good point was no noisy A/C fans running outside/ in room all the time. Agree with someone else, buzz from electric consumer unit, right next to bed which controls lights if you go in/out room. Solution, just switch whole box off at night. |

The hotel was near to the tube station and a variety shops and restaurants we only a 2 mins walk away. The hotel room was clean and tidy and we were situated near to Kensington and Hyde Parks which was lovely when wanting to relax from the bustle of the city. the hotels rooms were very small and we were unable to get a reception on the tv. The bathroom although very clean and modern was very small and when using the shower the bath became extremely slippery as there was not bathmat in the bath. |

The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is in central location, very close to the bus stop and two tube stations. The breakfast was also very good. Good value for money! Sometimes we could hear people talking in rooms next door. |

Airless.. my room had no air circulation whatsoever. This seemed to be one of those london hotel rooms wedged into what was once a basement or service area, and done of the cheap. So down a maze of corridors to a room with no opening window, and a double bed and ensuite tucked away under a low ceiling. The result is that the room can never truly air out... |

The hotel was well placed near the city and in easy reach of the airport. Close to Kensington Park and Hyde Park. It was a bit noisy, mostly because of the work being done outside to the water pipes. |

The hotel is within easy reach to 2 underground stations i.e. Queensway and Bayswater. There are choices of restaurants and provision shops nearby. The front office staff should be more customer oriented. We arrived on 24th May 2009 two hours earlier than the stated check in time at 3pm but were allowed to check in and keep our luggage in the room until the room is ready. We enquired about the readiness of the room at the front office later and was told to check for ourselves. |

This partly refurbished Victorian hotel is in central London, 5 minutes’ walk from Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens and Bayswater / Queensway London Underground stations. |
With an excellent central London location, next to Gloucester Road London Underground Station the hotel offers friendly, personalised service and air-conditioned en suite rooms at great-value prices. |
This central hotel with pool, sauna and free Wi-Fi is a short walk from Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens, and within easy reach of Paddington Train Station and Notting Hill. |
Perhaps the most central hotel in London, located in the heart of the West End at the foot of Oxford Street with the whole of London on your doorstep. |
