Interieuer and washing basin, here All things move down No board
Close to Paddington Station. Well organised staff at the front desk..
V ery run down and badly maintained. Room very basic.
Good location and a fair price.
The staff at reception we're not friendly. This had very poor qualities and were not helpful. They did not tell us about breakfast or dinner and they did not clean the rooms each day when they said that they did. Did not want to give us a receipt when we payed. Quite nosiy. No wifi around the hotel only in the lobby.
Only what good on this hotel is building
Bed is bad
Rooms were clean Comfortable beds Hotel was quiet Good facilities Competitively priced Good location
Bar area needs to be more inviting
Right near hyde park as we were at the proms in the park and nearby places to eat..short bus trip to city and they do a great hot chocolate!
Location was good for buses and tube. Nice to walk in Hyde park.
Room was very hot. There was no air circulation. Some of electrical outlets were iffy. Doors slammed close and made loud noise. Storage was terrible. No drawers in night stands.
- overall feeling that the room was just not clean - ceiling was probably leaking according to the mark I could see right over the bed - some mess on the floor in my room as well - the door was poorly sound proof and I could hear everyone walking around...
The location is very good and the place would be good value for money if it weren't for the bedbugs.
The rooms are not very clean and I found bed bugs!
The location - 3 minutes from tube just off Bayswater. Area felt safe
Dirty walls and carpet in the bar area of hotel. Rooms had a lot of cheap looking plywood/MDF inside. Tacky plywood over doors to hotel room and carpets in all public areas in need of a good clean. Did not eat in hotel due to dirty walls and carpets observed in bar area
Location is very close to the underground & bus stations. Friendly people at the reception. Room cleaned daily.
No free wi fi in the rooms. Bad smell at the hotel entrance.
Good location. Choice of food at breakfast.
Wallpaper hanging of the wall in two areas of the bedroom. Tiny bathroom. Poor attitude towards customer service - saw many examples of this at breakfast; requested a fan twice on our last evening and nothing materialised. Expensive for the level of room provided.
Location is excellent. 5 minutes walk from shops and tube station. Room clean, TV, tea/coffee making facilities, and air conditioning that worked. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Had to change room because initial room was damp and smelt fusty due to broken seal on window frame which let in rainwater causing black mould to form. Needs repair.
Bar area and price of food and drink was reasonable.
Rooms were small and needed redecoration (wallpaper hanging off the wall). Cleanliness was poor and there were also mites crawling over the bedclothes. Staff did not bother to enquire as to the quality of the stay while checking out.
No air conditioning in any rooms, sunken beds, cramped rooms and really bad toilets
Nothing was good in that hotel
Cheap for London
No fan or ac very stuffy. Dated
Everything is centralized
Fabulous location Great room...6th floor and no noise from traffic staff friendly
too hot but the hotel did provide a fan....
Given that it's London. The hotel is fairly priced
Frontline line staff are awful more especially when you have a problem.
That I was able to get a room with AC.Good fairly central location and still relatively quiet at night. Most of the staff are friendly. Our room maid was very friendly and kept our room very clean and tidy. Our room maid also made sure that our personal safety was not compromised on the morning of the new carpet laying in the corridor outside our room when she made sure that we stepped safely over the roll of underlay across the width of the corridor.
Not all rooms have AC.Poor overhead lighting at bed when trying to read at night.Refurbishment work taking place during our stay which in itself is good to see and can't be criticised. However, guests are not informed or given advanced notice of potential inconvenience. Example - when I was woken at 8am by the refubishment work outside my room and when I stepped out of my room to find carpet laying in progress I had to step over the roll of underlay. A customer care notice should have been strategically placed or a simple flyer placed in every affected room by housekeeping prior to the work commencing. Also refurbishment work at main entrance was not cordoned off to keep working space separate from public area.
Rooms were very small
convenient to a tube station
the room felt damp and no opening window,
Hotel was spotless, sheets and doings changed daily. comfy bed two mins from baywater tube station, and queensway. 5 mins away from Westminster tube station. lots of shops, pubs, restaurants two mins walk from hotel.
