The room was quiet and comfortable. The breakfast selection was good and they happily adapted the menu when we weren't so hungry. Only 10 minute walk to station to catch the train.
The wifi was down for 3 days on our floor which made contacting family difficult however the office did arrange a technician to look into it.
location near to where my friend stays as we were visiting from liverpool, clean
quite small, was a bit pricey for where it was
Hassle free, quiet yet conveniently situated. Had a great relaxing time.
Staff where very helpful
Shower wasn't powerful
We booked during Commonwealth games as we couldn't get any closer to Glasgow. Price was very high for quite a distance away from the games. Long walk to train station.
No air conditioning, no shaver point, no phone, no fridge, no local knowledge or literature in room, shower rubbish, no cup pared space, no safe, and this was we were told a 4 star Hotel charging £250 per night what a complete rip off
The staff were very friendly and the hotel was in a good location for travelling to Glasgow by train. A short walk to the station.
The room was very warm and whilst it was described as Deluxe, standard was a slightly better description. Probably not helped by the higher prices during the Commonwealth Games.
Friendliness of staff High standard of food Appreciated recently refurbished bedroom
Continuous banging of internal service doors, could easily be rectified by adjusting door closers. We did mention this to night staff. Felt we were overcharged for room but realise that all hotels upped their prices for this period.
helpfulness of the staff
Near station with frequent trains to Glasgow City Good restaurant
Noise from adjacent night club on Saturday night. Price set to cash in on Commonwealth Games lack of accommodation in Glasgow
Friendly and helpful staff Child friendly Clean and well equipped room
No hairdryer in room
The restaurant at the hotel was wonderful.
We had booked the rooms 4 months ago, the rooms we were given were very noises at night, with work being carried out late into the night, with lots of doors banging and reception told us it was people in the bar.
The staff could not do more to be helpful - very welcoming and made sure we had taxis and recommendations for eating out.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
No vegetarian breakfast option. Basically I had to have the standard breakfast minus the haggis, sausage, bacon, and black pudding, which just left the eggs, baked beans, scones and toast.
nice staff across the rd from witherspoons
building work being done no sign saying its name walked passed it 3 times!!!
Location, helpful staff
Restaurant pricey Noisy late on
When I booked I thought breakfast was in with the price ,but it wasn't.
Great restaurant (Mondo's).
Slightly difficult to find the entrance. But got there in the end.
The staff were very friendly
We were meant to have a delux double room, to be honest... I'm not sure what was delux about it... Don't even think it was a double bed.
lovely quite location and very friendly at our stay also a lovely meal outside in village excellent
Nice room Lovely breakfast Comfortable bed Very quiet
Towels are too thin and small Odd smell in bathroom
Room was comfortable the tea and coffee was plentiful The restaurant was first class and the staff wer very helpful
Renovations were going on in the corridor and rooms next to us.On checking in I asked if my sister had arrived their car was in carpark and was told she had not checked in but found out later that they were there and had been for some hours.
Great location for our requirements, plenty of parking (once you realise that the covered parking is next to ASDA, rather than on the high street). Clean and modern "double deluxe" room was good value at £50.
The bed, whilst clean and modern, was incredibly firm- not far off of sleeping on a pile of bricks! This will probably be fine for some visitors but it was quite uncomfortable for my partner and me. Also there was a note posted in reception about construction work being carried out throughout May; we didn't think anything of this, as there was no evidence of it at check-in, until the jackhammer started going before 8am on a Sunday morning! It was unfortunate but it sounds like the work is almost completed, so it's not something that would affect our choice to stay here again should we ever require a room in Coatbridge.
