It was in an area that suited our requirements and the room was nice as had recently been refurbished. the bathroom had not been refurbished and was very outdated - the maid did not change the towels or finish making the beds, also the washbasin was not cleaned. Service in the restaurant was not of a high standard. This was mentioned to reception. Experience overall was okish. |

The location and the views from the dining room were lovely. The room was quite comfortable and the staff friendly. We found the dining room was very short staffed on the 23rd evening and the 24th at breakfast, although the staff tried their best to cope with the large number of clients. |

The room was very spacious with a huge flat screen tv, overlooking the 9-hole golf course it was quiet, airy with beautifil views. |

Very convenient position for the towns we were visiting, comfortable, very helpful and friendly staff. Room quiet and warm. Room had no lights suitable to read a book with, bed lights too low and too dim, this is a very common fault of hotels, now I bring a caving head light to read with! Breakfasts leave a lot to be desired, I like hot tea in a pot plus cup and saucer. potions of hot items very small |

Very well placed for getting around the local area. Staff very friendly and extremely helpful. Requested extra milk and sugar for tea making facilites and it was provided straight away. Hotel food was suberb and very good value for money. The whole experience was wonderful, I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay there again. |

Rooms recently updated, coffee and tea making facilities and more than 2 milk, staff frendly Breakfast was a little dissapointing - what was on offer for full english we choose what we required, no hash browns arrived and portions very very small, having stayed at other best westerns this was a weak area |

the hotel was nice the bedrooms had been modernized and looked great the bathroom still looked a little dated and the fried breakfast wasnt as good as some at other hotels, i would still recommend this hotel some rooms are still being decorated but after this it will be even better |

The room was fair-sized and warm. For well over a hundred quid a night, we found the coffee/milk supply in the room a bit derisory. Four tiny pots of 'milk' and 3 biscuits to see us through an afternoon/evening/morning? If you charge well over a hundred pounds for spending one night in a room, people expect a little more than just a bed and a tv. Made you look cheap. |

The room was not ready as the hotel was already full; the beds that were put in were hard and uncomfortable. |

The layout of the hotel and the gardens and grounds were beautiful. Just the convoluted corridors to the bars and restaurants. |
