Stopped in many London hotels and thought this was very good value and very pleasant rooms
Comfortable quiet and roomy.
No water in the room save for the mini bar.
Clean and tidy Friendly staff A good all-rounder for business
Always a pleasure staying at this hotel
Reception staff very helpful. Lovely pub attached to the hotel selling great real ales. Stayed on a Saturday night close to Christmas so was no surprise it was a tad pricey. Would definitely stay there again.though.
English breakfast was disappointing and service was slow, however it was busy, so . . .
Refurbished rooms are super. Well designed & pleasing. Nice to have a Nespresso coffee machine in the room with choice of coffees.
Breakfast was extremely poor, and what was served was dried out cheese, dry bread, they ran out of orange juice !?!?
As we were flying in from the USA and arriving at midday we requested an early check in time, this was not possible on arrival. Ok I can understand a room might not be available. But we then requested if there was somewhere we could take a shower to freshen up - to which we received a very blunt "No" from the staff as if it was a completely unreasonable request. Overall I thought the hotel was quite run down for the price.
Location, the staff were very friendly, rooms are huge, decor is very tasteful. The location is perfect, very close to both Tower Hill and Aldgate.
The place is excellent, I have nothing bad to say about it.
Newly decorated room
The smell of pee in the corridor
Nobody bothered you
Breakfast was a bit cold on one of the mornings
Comfortable and convenient
Regular price - full rate is mad
Bathroom was nice and clean and shower curtain was good unlike many others. Good location for restaurants and many famous sights.
Soft pillows would have been good. Fortunately I brought my own.
Staff very friendly and accommodating nothing was too much trouble. Had a luxury room which was very comfortable and spotlessly clean.
Breakfast only lukewarm on the first morning but fine after that. Great choice though. Service the following morning not so good had to ask twice for coffee and toast. It was a busy morning but plenty of staff on shouldn't have been a problem really.
Enjoyed the room and the facilities in the room. The neighbourhood offered a lot of nice restaurants.
The breakfest. Happy that it was included in the price. The cooked breakfast, egg and bacon etc was not very nice.
Location, nice bed, bath and shower
Price, but that's just London
location. Good shower. Possibility to leave Luggage. Wifi was very good.
Small room which was really hot. Airco didn't work. Asked both nights if they could fixe this problem, but without any possitive result, So the room was really expansive for what was given. € 360,00 for 2 (sleepless) nights in a small hot room without breakfast is way too expansive. It wasn't possible to open the window.
First morning- long wait-cooked breakfast cold. Next day, barely any food. Waited 30 minutes-cold again. Ditto on third. Would like a refund on the food.
The room was huge by London standards (and we only booked the club as we weren't spending a lot of time in the room), and really nicely decorated. Great facilities including bathrobes. Got a great deal at £99 - In London!! Staff were great and friendly, brought us more teabags and milk when we asked. And the communal areas were nice and cosy. For the price we paid, I couldn't recommend it more and would definitely book again (already recommended to others as well!)
We stayed in room 215 which was perfect for us - my only concern would be if different rooms are different sizes / layouts as it's not a standard layout inside
Excellent location near to Tower of London nice breakfast in the morning and really nice rooms
Returned to the room after a day round london and getting ready for a night out at about 6 a clock the cleaner decides to let herself in luckily we had a chain on the door At 7 in the morning they were hoovering in the room next door and again tried to get in at half 8 when we were'nt checking out till 11
This was an 80th Birthday Celebration for our family. 24 sat down to dinner on Saturday 29th November which was supremely organised by Tracey Rauf and some of her staff. Her input was 100% and this made for the most memorable of celebratory weekends.
Breakfast Convenient location
Loved the room and furnishings. Staff very helpful.
Breakfast order taken but waited an hour for it to be served. Too long.
Rigth in the hearth of the City, lovely spacious room
charge on credit card straight upon arrival
Breakfast great, staff helpful and polite. Wifi very good signal in the whole hotel. Quiet spot, though close to subway, dlr, tower bridge and bank area. hotel has own restaurant with own brewery. Complimentary newspaper in the morning.
