It is situated close to many bus routes which take you into Manchester or Stockport. Plenty of bars and pubs in the area.

Proximity to the family I was visiting. Easygoing atmosphere and clean functional rooms. The noise from constant banging of room doors during the night. Very noisy from parties and functions going on. Lukewarm breakfast on both mornings. Hair in food. Staff no longer serve tea and coffee at table - you have to go and get it from plastic urns, Very low budget and utility!

From the moment we walked through the door we were greeted by a lovely guy on reception who made us feel very welcome. The hotel was lovely and the room perfect. I would highly recommend this hotel, they really couldn't do enough for us. Hope to stay here again soon!

Location was good , nice and quite, no road noise or party people in there causing a racket in the hall ways. the rooms where very small and cramped , the hotel staff need to tought to knock and wait not walk into the room using the master key.

Quiet, nice, clean, helpful staff. Walking (a bit long walk though) distance to the city centre. Parking free of charge!!! Internet (wired in the room, wi fi in public areas) free of charge !!! and perfectly working. Small but comfortable room. Good breakfast (full english + some other stuff) in the room price - 40 quit a night- what's a deal! I recommend this hotel.

The staff were very polite and friendly.The breakfast was good The room we were in was quite small along with the bathroom.The room was dusty and only had one bath and one hand towel to service a double room

It was very good value for money and although the rooms weren't big they had everything you need, modern and clean with a powerful hot shower (there was a bath but didn't use). The buffet cooked breakfast exceeded our expectations and was in a restaurant also used for weddings receptions so was light and airy and simply but tastefully designed.we will definitely use the hotel again. The only problem is that wi-fi is only available in the social/public areas of the hotel and not in the bedrooms.

Stayed here because there was a conference in the hotel. Single beds but very comfortable. Flat screen terrestrial tv in the rooms Rooms are basic and overpriced. Wifi is free in the the hotel will pay for your subscription to iCloud but they dont make this fact obvious when you are checking in and I only figured out when I was leaving. There is a poster about wifi but it's hidden behind a plant and pillar putside the conference rooms. I probably wouldn't stay here again. I spent one night in the best western which is just around the corner. same price but much better quality for money
