Easy to park, good breakfast, quiet, Small room, shower a bit rudimentary and very hot water should be kept at a normal 60 C.

It was convenient to the city. The room was very small but the staff were very helpful and changed us to a bigger one without any trouble. All the staff were friendly. Very good breakfast. The standard double room was really small.

All was good, clean, breakfast, parking. Room facilities, balcony nice. Room and bed very small, ok for 1 or 2 nights. As a couple the bed was too small and the room too small.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean and great value for money. Quiet when we stayed, no noisy revellers returning late at night. Not high end, no frills but very adequate. Breakfast was buffet service. All ingredients for the usual full English were there. Bit cheeky saying 'Its the best breakfast in Manchester' though. I would definitely stay here again despite the decoration issues. The hotel could do with a lick of paint on the inside. Some corridor walls and doors looked battered which gave it a slightly down market feel. The bathroom in our room was functional but looked like it was out of a 1950's hospital!

Good facilities in room. Good breakfast. Comfortable and bright. A functional hotel and great for a city stop over. My room was facing the road and therefore the noise of cars and walking students was a bit of a nuisance.

service - staff rooms (2) were only suitable for single occupation - just one beside cabinet and one bedside light - only one person could read whilst lying on bed. Had to sit on bed to open wardrobe.First room had malfunction lock but same faults.

Surroundings, friendly staff, breakfast very good & situation of hotel. Room nice but found it too small, difficult to access wardrobe & trouble getting into bed on that side as not much room between bed & wardrobe, only 1 bedside light would be better with wall lights above bed,

The building was very nice and we had an excellent meal on the evening. The bedroom was small but for a couple of nights was fine. It was very clean and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was self service, I had a full English, which was good and my partner had continental. Staff were very polite and parking was free. We were there to visit the Imperial War Museum and it was ideally based. There were many hotels near the museum, but this was cheaper and came with breakfast. Have stayed at some of the other hotels near the museum and this was far better. The power shower was excellent and you do not need to take shampoo or soap. It was a lovely touch. Plenty of tea and coffee to make your hot drink and also hot chocolate, excellent. The room was very hot and though the radiator was not on, the pipes to the radiator were very hot. The rooms window opened onto the reception courtyard and was noisy with people coming and going. The rooms are not soundproof and you can hear the people in the other rooms. You can hear all the doors of the other rooms slamming, and people in the hallways. But I would stay again because of the polite staff and excellent value for money.

Good size single room. Good bath/shower facilities. Excellent all round. Friendly helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Didn't accept AMEX card for payment. Had to pay in cash in advance. No fresh fruit (only tinned fruit) at breakfast.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The meal in the restauranty on the Saturday night was excellent. Window didn't shut properly and the room was very drafty and cold. We were given another room which was much cosier.

The staff were very helpful and accomodating. Nothing was too much trouble and all with a smile. We had dinner on Saturday night and it was excellent. The windows didn't shut properly and the internet didn't work in our first room but we were moved to a different room where all was fine. The shower alternated between freezing cold and scalding hot!

Great location. Car parking on site. Bright clean and airy hotel. Good breakfast. Curtains didn't fit window so blinding sunlight in the morning. Shower literally oscillated from cold to scalding and was unusable (dangerously so). Price was a bit high for the experience.
