the breakfast was lovelyand plenty ov variety the reception staff exxxttttreeemellllly rude,no hellos or goodbyes, no help when they could see we were struggling with bags, no showing us ot our room, just hand signals, the size ov the room was very deceiving on the photos but yet tiny when got there. the cleanlyness was shocking, stains n the bedding, ontop ov the safe totally full ov dust,so when we pulled the extra pillows off, dust went everywere, pubic hair and mould in the shower, the view was none existant from our room,

Very friendly staff, quiet location and comfortable. I wasn't that impressed with the breakfast - I would like my eggs cooked fresh even if other food is precooked and on the hotplate. However, the dinner was good.

I have stayed on four occasions now. The accommodation is and clean comfortable with free internet. The breakfast is very pleasant and the lounge has a lovely view of the garden. It would be great if there was more vegetarian options on the menu and a better quality of vegetarian food ( I had excellent fish and chips this time!)

Proximity to the family I was visiting. Easygoing atmosphere and clean functional rooms. The noise from constant banging of room doors during the night. Very noisy from parties and functions going on. Lukewarm breakfast on both mornings. Hair in food. Staff no longer serve tea and coffee at table - you have to go and get it from plastic urns, Very low budget and utility!

“Location is excellent, right in the centre of town and only a few minutes walk from the Arndale Centre and the bars of Canal St. Good breakfast, a wide selection of hot and cold food, and the bar staff are friendly, though the drinks prices are high.” James, Solihull |
