Immaculate building and facilities, friendly staff, spacious room, comfortable bed. Good restaurant with knowledgeable wine waiter. It was unfortunate, but while we we there, there was a good deal of building work on, so there was hydraulic drill going some of the time and outside our window there were some crashings and bangings. I accept that much of this was unavoidable.

The facilities are at very high standard category with an elegant decoration through the hotel. SPA services are really professional, and definitely can be the reason for second visits. The services are also generally good. The breakfast was not as delicious as expected. The food were not delicious enough to be 5 stars.

The location was excellent, the most comfortable bed in the world. 5 star facilities I didn't dislike anything. The breakfast was out of this world but very pricey, only to be expected in London though! So not really a complaint.

Very nice bedroom. Doorman was very good. Part of the building closed down so that you have to walk through the rain to get to the bar. Loud "Musak" in the bar/restaurant - do we really have to have the Beatles Greatest Hits on full blast during afternoon tea? Staff walking through main entrance loaded with Sainsbury's bags - ok they have to shop, but not quite what you expect of a luxury hotel. Apart from the doorman the staff seemed a bit dim and disinterested. Please explain to reception that English people staying in England don't need to produce passports.

Clean, great location, comfortable, quiet. Breakfast was expensive, considering it was a buffet. View from window was onto offices opposite. Expensive, but that's London for you.

This hotel is one of the last great hotels with history, character, charm and staff that know how to operate in a 5 star hotel environment. Guests are always made to feel welcome, and nothing is to much trouble for the hotel and staff. The location is excellent, easy walk to most of London attractions. Nothing to dislike.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, very glamorous, and the staff were outstanding. The location is so central we were a stones throw away from the bars and clubs and amazing shopping! I would recomend this hotel to anyone looking for a sophisticated nights stay in the middle of the west end! The bar was not located inside the hotel so you had to go outside to a separate building for drinks or a meal if you didn't want to use room service. This was a very minor inconvenience though, and didn't taint our stay there at all.

Very and confortable room Bathroom flaws: 1.- At the sink, the towel pole in front of the sink is a mistake 2.- The shower is bad, too far from the water and the bottom is very dangerous 3.- The tub is extremely dangerous--round bottom with slippery edge,, very dangerous and unconfortable 4.-to get out of the tub, also very dangerous to slip In summury, I am very surprise that you did not have serious accident in these bathroom.

Good location, very nice bedroom, spacious and quiet. Bathtub - would be nice if the plug actually stopped the water from draining whilst in the bath Coffee maker a bit temperamental. Also, for the price charged, this hotel is a little bit stingy when it comes to complimentary provisions (no biscuits, no free water).

A wonderful hotel. The staff were very friendly and happy to help. We booked into a king delux room which was wonderful. The decor was clean and crisp, with a very comfortable bed and plentiful pillows, which was just what we needed after hours on Oxford street. The bathroom was wonderful - clean, with good toiletries on offer and thick, fluffy towels - very luxurious. I particularly liked the lighting and plentiful mirrors, which was ideal when getting ready for a night out. The West End is 5 mins away from the hotel via taxi, which can be ordered at reception. We were very impressed with this hotel, and would certainly book again. We would have liked to have been shown to our room, and offered help with our luggage. No big deal, but it would have enhanced a very enjoyable stay.
