We are a young family with a 3 year old child and we were made to feel extremely welcome throughout our stay. The room was ideal for us all and exceptionally clean with fresh towels every day. We will definitely be returning to the chandos guest house and would recommend it to anyone.
The Chandos is well located for central Folkestone, including v close to the train station. Excellent value for money, v clean, v comfortable beds. Don, the owner, cooked the breakfasts and it was a pleasure to meet him. Would definitely stay thee again.

Proprietor very accommodating friendly. Great breakfast, comfortable room just the ticket. Also motorcycle parking easy and safe.
Allgood no complaints would happily stay again.
Not too far from the bus station and shops but Folkestone rather a disappointing place. Would not stay there again.
Smallish bedroom, no drawer space, small wardrobe only. Nowhere to put cases, would have preferred a room without extra beds in already plus one under the bed. Breakfast OK but limited choice. We arrived a bit early and managed to get someone to open the door so that we could leave our cases but couldn't get back in until after 4pm, would prefer a hotel where you can at least sit until your room is ready.
Clean, cheap room. Well placed for an early getaway for the Channel Tunnel
I had a single room travelling alone and though small it was en-suite and at the price no complaints. Breakfast very good, plenty of choice and well cooked.
nothing really . have stayed there before years ago and would use again.
Close to Euro Shuttle Handy for Folkestone Helpful owner/staff Clean room Powerful shower Parking space available in the evening until the morning
Bit noisy with the gulls - but to be expected at seaside location.
Friendly Clean Could park
Staff friendly, room very clean, breakfast lovely.
The decor is a bit dated but that doesn't matter as it adds to the charm if the place you won't be disappointed
Good value. Typical seaside B&B. Does what it says on the tin! Nice breakfast.

Perfect for overnight stop for channel - vex minutes away. Clean tidy and quiet

Very friendly staff, and a good stop over for catching the ferry the next day from Dover.Breakfast was excellent and we where able to park our motorcycles within the drive way.
We had to be out early to catch a train, breakfast was included in the price from 7am, but the owner would not even make us a bacon sandwich for 6.45. Very disappointed.
Nice staff, enjoyed the breakfast - great value, would recommend
Friendly and flexible staff. Off road parking for motorcycles.
Comfort and cleanliness of accommodation with excellent breakfast. The friendliness and willingness of proprietor to meet all our needs. Catered for early arrival and departure with prior arrangement with no problem. The location and close proximity to town centre and transport links
Friendly check in
