The rooms were lovely and, of course, the setting. We only stayed one night to visit friends who live in Boreham but would certainly consider a longer stay in future. Breakfast in the morning was superb and the staff very pleasant indeed.

We have no complaints at all.

Lovely large bed room and room with snacks and fresh milk available in the fridge. Room location away from the main function rooms was good. Room furnishing s were clean modern and attractive with fluffy cotton bathrobes in two sizes. My husband is 6' 3'' and was delighted to find that one robe fitted him.

To be flipant/ picky even,, would have been nice to have had a bench outside of room to enjoy the suurroundings!!!

ive been to channels many times for golf not realising they had rooms next door and although it was V festival weekend most other hotels had bumped their prices up but not here. I stayed in the holly room and i was expecting a single as booked but it turned out to be a massive bed and the room was absolutely lovely,couldnt fault it. If i have to stay in the Chelmsford area again i will use here especially as they are about same price as travellodge and premier inn in the area but there is no comparison

We booked a double suite although we ended up staying in the channels cottage due to a mix up with bookings, This was by no means a down side as we ended up with a whole three bedroom house to ourselves. The propiator couldn't do enough to sort out the mix up for us, and was really great, which makes a refreshing change. The channels cottage itself was absolutely stunning, beautiful rooms, ktitchen. Lounge and gardens all looking over the golf course, and all the extras you would expect for a high end hotel, we would definately reccomend this cottage and channels hotels to anyone.

The care of staff was good, the room was luxury itself, it was a great shame that it was just for one night; and the golf club resturant offered excellent food, at a reasonable price. All of this set in peaceful and tranquil countryside not far from Chelmsford.

how relaxing it was and the spacious room and facilities within it

lighting was poor in the room and bathroom, also would have been helpful to know how to use airconditioning. Was surprised there was not more info in the room about the place, i.e. a menu for the club house. A donot disturb sign would have definately been useful to avoid any embarrasing moments!

The room was excellent - it was large and well appointed, particularly the bathroom. It was also very clean. I would definitely stay again and recommend it to friends and family.

The wifi needs to be sorted - it had a very weak signal.

The room!! me and my partner will be returning! What a lovely hotel, was just ashame we only had one night there.
