Channins Hounslow Hotel  

Quick to be registered and put in a room, good price, nice room with toilet and shower. Bed was really comfortable and rooms were evidently well-maintained.

Breakfast staff judgemental about how much food you were allowed to eat, seemed to favour mature couples and older people over young couples or young people. 'Continental Breakfast' was toast with butter and jam, and two types of cereal. After a lovely night, the morning was a bit of a let down.

Nothing! I booked it solely because I could not get home to Manchester that night and, therefore, required overnight accommodation. It was cheap, but when you add the taxi fares to and from Heathrow, I would have been better served getting a room at Heathrow itself.

The room smelt of tobacco smoke, and the hotel was full of dss

I did not enjoy my stay at all.

Everything. but mainly it was obviously used by the DHSS and we shoul have been informed when we booked.

We were put in a basement room squeezed in like sardines. Ensuite (I use the term loosely) was covered in Mildew over the ceiling down the walls and in the shower. Room smelt of damp. Carpet was wet. I complained to management and we were promised a night's refund as well as being moved to another room the next day. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. Was a very sour end to our holiday. Absolutely disgusted with Management - he had no qualms at putting us in this room in the first place.

Great accommodation as I got a small self contained flat, instead of single room with shared bath room. Thanks. The hotel owns a few of the houses around the hotel & I was luck enough to get one of those. Double bed, own shower, toilet, kitchen & bedroom. Recently decorated, they had not yet put the tv in which kind of offset the value. Its not really a hotel room without a tv, so insist on a tv. I was studying for a professional exam & so it was good not to distract myself with the telly. The room was very clean. Really appreciated that - thanks.

Had my own garden too, but I wish they'd have cleaned that up a bit. Can't really expect a garden with a hotel room though!

Not too pleasent an experience to be honest. Wouldnt stay there again!

Tiny rooms, dreadful shower and bathroom. Rubbish on the floor when we entered. Poor door locks and not the most helpful of staff

Not much, I know it was cheep, so it wasn't going go be anything to write home about. What I didn't expect was a room so crammed full of beds there wasn't any room to walk around, the shower to be so dirty that you don't wanna have a shower!! Every time you turn on the taps in the sink you get wet feet and when you open the window fir a bit of fresh airto be hit by the disgusting sewerage stench coming from the obviously blocked drain right under the window. Tbd room was also damp. Not impressed at all.

Staff very friendly needs updating but comfortable and my room was clean and enjoyed mys short stay. No complaints at all and would stay again as felt comfortable. Mary the House Keeper was lovely and thank you all so much.

Feel a non smoking environment which is law a large Ash Tray should be put outside for the residence as looks rather shabby!

It is close to the airport.

I don´t reccomend the hotel at all. You cannot trust the staff. We asked the recepcionist for a phone number of a taxi to take us to the airport and he said he could do it for 18 pounds. We knew a taxi will take us for less but we were tired and had a baby who was hungry and tired so we accepted the offer. In the morning, at the last minute, when we put all our luggage at his car he said the price was 25 pounds. We couldn t say "no" because we are in a hurry to pick up the plane, it was raining and we had a 1 year old baby. We felt ripped off. I definetly do not recommend this hotel.

Convenient, quiet, friendly staff, great value for the money.

No problems with the hotel

The main reason for my stay was that within reason you could leave your car free of charge whilst taking a mini break away.

I could'nt find anything really as it was a clean efficient and great value run establishment.
