Friendly staff. Good vaue for cost
We chose to stay here because we have friends and family in the area. It is a lovely older style hotel, not modern but lots of charm and we had avery nice large room. It also has anexcellant restaurant and Stokesley is a charming old market town and a good base for touring the area and there is free parking in front of the hotel in the square.
Breakfast was rather ordinary which was a bit of a surprise when the other food was so good.
Loved our first stay at Chapters hotel. We visit stokesely a lot due to my girlfriends family staying there and the surrounding area and this was the first time we have stayed in the hotel, rather than with them. Hotel staff could not have been more friendly, they stayed on late to allow for us to check in late on Friday evening due to us travelling from Edinburgh. The hotel itself was spotlessly clean and our room was huge with a lovely view out over the high street. Even though we were right above the bar/restaurent and on the main street we never heard a peep and had a great sleep in a very comforatble bed. We were even served our breakfast in th room the following morning, even though they were short staffed the Chef actually brought it up to us in our room to allow us to have breakfast in bed. All made for an excellent stay and we will defintely be back again soon.
Good rooms, friendly and helpful staff.
Rooms on the main street are a bit noisy.
clean tidy service
uneven floor no lift (that we found)
The food, the room, the central locality.... everything!
Nothing to dislike!
The staff could not do enough for us even made sure my partner had a bacon buttie for an early start.
We had an executive room, room was great but as it was front of the hotel it was quite noisy. However this wouldn't stop us returning.
I loved the Moulton Brown products, they were the nices I have ever had, lovely bubble bath, plenty of hot water. Nice clean towels and bedding
The corridors when you move about smell a bit fusty, like they need a new carpet.
Comfortable clean hotel with tastefully decorated rooms. Very helpful staff.
Room a bit small.
Room and breakfast comfortable and delicious. Excellent hosts for staff and informative and helpful. Let us checkin early as we had a wedding to go to at Grwat Ayton. Thank you
We were here for a wedding, absolutely perfect! Staff amazingly helpful
my hubby worked on the extension to this hotel as a young lad of 17 ,back in 1973, we told the reception staff about it and they said to take a good look all around , even up in attic. lovely staff.
breakfast finished at 9am, we were on a long weekend so had a lie in and missed it!
Staff WiFi Parking
We went to Chapters having reviews of their food and were not disappointed. Service was very good.Would definitely stay again.
Glorious Joe Cornish photographs, and convenient location for family in Stokesley
It feels tired. Cooking/damp smell in the stairwell. Dried up croissants for breakfast.
everything couldn't fault it staff even came out to find me a parking place
Lovely comfortable hotel. The staff were excellent. Always pleasant and couldn't do enough for you. Lovely decor throughout and a wonderful breakfast. Would definitely go again
The only thing was that the car parking is difficult. The hotel receptionist did however come out into the square and find us a space that was free. Most of the parking in Stokesley is disc parking.
Good location and breakfast.
Room was dated with poor finish.
Lovely Hotel, with very friendly staff. We had a superior room and very comfortable. The bathroom was so big you could have a dance in it. Sunday lunch was fabulous.
the room was scruffy, needed a coat of paint, wall paper peeling and a large black patch of damp on the ceiling, room 4 have a look.
Comfort, friendly and first class breakfast !!!!
Excellent friendly staff? Good food and atmosphere in the restaurant. Good central location.
Problems associated with parking on market day.
room too small and hot
Friendly welcome, great breakfast, close to town centre
