Score from 237 reviews Good
Very dusty, no hot water in bathroom , Rubbish old place, very old fashion, No one was on reception just call on mobile etc , no water for wash cup in kitchen etc. absolutely rubbish . I wouldn't recon anyone go
Mattress on bed so old springs was sticking in my back. Other side of mattress had collapsed. Never any staff about. Run down facilities all round!!!
Convenient cheap en suite fairly quiet
No tea making facility in room Not cleaned behind bedside cabinet Old poor quality TV
Shower&toilet disgusting.Bed sheets stained and not ironed
It was clean but very basic. The young gentleman was very pleasant and helpful. There was a bus nearby going to the NEC .
We had to ask for hangers and towels. There was no heating in the mornings so it was cold. The shower head did not fit properly on the rail. There was no holder for toiletries. There was no stopper for the sink.
1. Not up to conventional B&B standards. 2. Wooden shacks treated as cabins that are not fit-for-purpose and barely habitable: dirty and very dated, very basic toilet facilities, sink has no running hot water and infested by spiders and bugs. 3. Need to improve standards or might as well close down.
Good Wi-Fi On suite Shower was spotless! Staff very friendly
Needs a good clean, spider webs everywhere! Pillows are filthy dirty!! The whole place smells of damp
Self service facilities
Cups to small should replace with mugs
Locality to NEC and good Shops near
Didn't use shower it was completely soiled (yellow stains all around) mattress was shot and towels were dried around the house on radiators so were like sandpaper
It was close to the Airport parking facility
The smell of stale urine in the room. There was no toilet in the room and the only available one in Reception had no light.
The rooms are small and bathroom could do with a lick of paint but for the price I paid it was clean and ideal for a one night stay. We had two mirrors in the room.
Would of liked a cup of tea in evening but no facilities
No fuss, clean room basic, but just what we needed , sort yourself breakfast fab as we were checking out very early Excellent value
very reasonably priced. ideal for events at the NEC
A budget guest house, clean, great breakfast provision for early starters and a few shops near by for takeaway.
1) hot water 2) tv 3) reasonably clean apart from.....
1) ceilings were water stained 2) bathroom, no light and ceiling were black with mould 3) bed was fold away, just springs, thin mattress 4) shower head was black
THE PLACE IS VERY NICE AND DIRECT BUS TO NEC EXHIBITION CENTRE BUDGET HOTEL THE PERSON INCHARGE MR OMAR IS VERY KIND AND HELPFUL VERY CALM PLACE
Staff was very helpfull
Price was high for Standard
cheapnes but it wasnt that cheap
dirty carpet smell of smoke expensive for what you got should have been £15
there were no fresh towels next day
I was met by well meaning staff. I was shown the room and all the facilities. I was made to feel welcome. If on a budget it was warm and OK to just use for your bed. I paid £35 per night and to be fair there was a help yourself Continental breakfast.
The decor needs updating. My room was compact. The lighting in the room was obscure. The TV needed updating. The shower was OK but was built in the corner of the room out of the room. The wardrobe looked home made. the toilet was small and unable to get a wash without soaking the small toilet as the sink was the smallest I've seen.
Easy to find. Local food outlets available within walking distance at the late time I needed at reasonable prices. Room size was adequate. Acces to kitchen whenever needed was a bonus with all cutlery and tea/coffee available late when I arrived. The ability to check in until 10pm and the loe cost were the main features I considered when booking. Check-out was simple and no need to wait for staff to serve you. Basically get ready and go.
Room and bedding were not clean, there was a smell of damp in the room and shower room had black damp silicone which was originally white. I'm glad that I was only in the room for a few hours due to working late on the day of check-in and having to check-out early. You do get a lot of noise from the airport so not suitable for light sleepers. I would not stay here again, instead I would spend a bit of extra money and stay somewhere clean.
