The Charlemont Arms Hotel is an old traditional city hotel but very tastefully modernised. The rooms were a good size and very comfortable and with all modern additions you'd expect such as tv, en suite bathroom and tea and coffee making facilities. Good restaurant and bistro both serving good food and a pleasant bar area and friendly staff. I had no complaints at all.

I would recomend the Charlemont Arms to anyone that were looking for a place to stay in Armagh, It is family run,and veryVERY freindly staff. The food is top class the breakfast was as fresh as you could ever get because it was cooked while you had your cereal and dosent come any fresher. The room was clean and very confortable, the only hicup was no hair dryer but I could live with that.Thank you for a wonderfull week's holiday we will be back If you were like us traveling on foot the coach station is only a few yards from the hotel which makes things very convenient and the bus service is exellent too NOTHING

A town centre hotel that is easily accessible. Basically a pub and restaurant on the ground floor with rooms over. I was not overly impressed with the food but it was plentiful, hot and reasonably tasty, so all that you need from basic pub grub. The room was well appointed, clean and comfortable and had obviously benefited from a recent refurbishment. There was music in the bar but I didn't hear it in the room. Staff really friendly and helpful.

The staff were excellent - this was an old fashioned hotel with the personal touch. Reception staff, bar staff and waitress very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. They provided an iron and ironing board without a second thought. Really enjoyed the stay room big, clean and comfortable. Braekfast the next day was cooked to order. Very nice typical Irish (possibly family owned) hotel Nothing hotel was excellent and would definitely stay again. Central locacation and secure, off main street, parking
