The remote entry system worked well. Proximity to the Co-op over the road. Minimal road noise. Comfortable beds. Decent sized bathroom. Small table and two chairs in the room.
There was nothing to not like.
Good spacious rooms, excellently situated with a Co Op across the road ! As the hotel is staffless - privacy is guaranteed !
Maybe the traffic noise for rooms facing the main street. Parking difficulties !
The keyless pin system was very easy and so convenient. Beautiful room and quiet hotel.
Directions from the bus/train station would have been helpful. We arrives about 9pm and spent our first hour just trying to find our way to the hotel. Everything after that was fine
nice staff; very big and comfortable rooms; very clean and tidy. I would definitely recommend it.
slightly far from the city centre but with the lift located next to the station it is very easy to reach it.
Clean, good location, excellent!
I liked the jug of fresh milk in the fridge to use for making tea and for breakfast cereals. Good selection of tea bags in the container. Very spacious. A cooling fan tower for use in room. I liked eating breakfast in my room in between getting ready to go out. I liked the fact that it was a continental style of breakfast.
The breakfast croissant in the lunch box was stale but the bread roll was fresh.

Compared to other Hotels & Guesthouses in the area we felt Charles House offered very good value for money. It was clean comfortable & we had everything we needed for our short stay including a docking/charging station for our phone which was an added bonus. The pin entry system works extremely well as you can come & go as you please with no key to hand in or look after. The only thing I would suggest is a small internal sign of where each room is located. Excellent place to stay we were very happy.
Very nice decor , large room with with space enough for table chairs
Traffic noise very bad so couldnt open windows so very stuffy on the 4nights we were there
feel at home
near main road
The room was large, very clean and the bed comfortable. A fan had been put on before our arrival as it was a hot day, which we really appreciated. We also liked the independence the key system gave us, and having a fridge in the room. If we need to stay in Windsor again we would certainly use charles House.
Great room and easy location to travel by tain
We stayed in the Victoria Room. Very spacious and modern. Location 10 minutes walk to the Castle and activities. Supermarket and restaurants close by, Included continental breakfast was good value.
No parking at the facility (although we parked temporarily at the co-op over the road when we dropped off our bags)
It is very nicely kept up and has an electronic entry system so we could come and go as we pleased. There is a market across the street and a refrigerator in the room so we had tea and sandwiches in our room. The house was very clean and our room was an interior room that was quiet. It is only a five minute walk to the Thames and a ten minute walk to Windsor Castle and lots of interesting restaurants.
We ended up with a very small room but it worked well for a place to sleep and shower and then spend the day wandering around lovely Windsor.
walking distance to Windsor castle pin system entrance - well working
breakfast prepared a day before at the room
Good clean comfortable room. Had been a bit sceptical about the pin system for accessing the hotel and our room but it actually worked well.
It is a convenient hotel, near the center city, close with a supermarket, friendly staff.
not change the towels in 7 days.
Have stayed here many times. It's the perfect stress-free B&B experience.
Location to Windsor shops and station was excellent. All within a 10 minutes walk. Staff very helpful. Lovely big comfortable rooms.
A little difficult with no car park attached to property.
Flexible check in with personalized code is very smart! Nice and cozy room, good bed and clean bathroom.
We had a green LED light from the ceiling (guess some fire sensor) which was so bright had to cover it with tape... luckily we had it with us
Clean, well equiped. No key code system is convenient.
Very comfortable bed good quality fittings. Pin number entry worked very well and enabled us to check in late without issue
A little ordinary from outside but don't be put off!
Room was very clean and tidy, good location near the centre of town, reasonable rates for Windsor
No having anyone there seemed a bit impersonal but key code system worked fine.
Location - in room facilities - security system - comfort
nothing comes to mind
I liked the key pad system . No fuss .
